I generally wait with baited breath when a face wash claims to be moisturising, so often I end up with such tight, dry skin afterwards that I'd almost given up! But the Simple Moisturising Facial Wash was a lovely surprise. I found it foamed easily, felt really nice on and the best part was that when I washed it off my skin still felt good - none of the uncomfortable tight feeling I normally get. Even after drying my face my skin felt soft and comfortable. I followed up with a light moisturiser! Super impressed, I think I might have found my new favourite face wash!

Tips: I followed up with a light moisturiser as I didn't feel the need to go with a heavier one after using this product.
I found this product to be pretty good, it had clear instructions and was easy to use. simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash lathers up nicely with a silky smooth texture. Scent isn't unpleasant but I wouldn't say it smells nice. Washed all makeup off my face and left face feeling smooth and clean. As this is a moisturising face wash it does not dry the skin in the same way as many other face washes, I did however notice some dryer spots after using this product.
Tips: As I noticed and few drier spots of my face, I would recommend that a facial moisturiser be used with this product.
The Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash was a really great product to try. I am always looking for sensitive skin safe products at the supermarket, and even a bonus when they are under $15.
The packaging is pretty standard tube with flip cap. The squeeze hole is quite small which is great if you like saving product (it doesn't gush out), but not great if you want a palmful of face wash.
I was excited about a face wash that claims it moisturises as well. However, on this claim I was disappointed. I am still left with the tight feeling after washing. I don't find it any more moisturising than any other face wash.
The bottle also claims that it is foaming, but I did not find that it was very foaming at all. You have to really rub it between your hands to 'activate' any sort of foaming.
I have very sensitive skin but did not have any reactions to this product.
Tips: • If you want a more 'foamy' wash, then use quite a bit of product.
I've now been using this day and night for 5 days which I think is enough time to prove its worth. It proved to be totally ok with my sensitive skin and I didn't have the slightest reaction to it. This is always my number one checkpoint because my face is ultra picky about what I put on it.
It also holds true to its promise of moisturizing. But I feel like that comes at the cost of its cleansing ability. When I try wash this off my face it still feels slippery after a couple 'rubs'. I'm attributing this to the moisturizing properties but honestly I don't really like it. I prefer that satisfying, squeaky clean feeling where I KNOW that my face is 100% clean. And on some days when I'm only wearing light makeup, I'm too lazy to use a makeup remover so I rely on my cleanser to get rid of everything. This I feel like isn't powerful enough to get rid of all the dirt and makeup on my face.
The product itself is a translucent gel which doesn't lather up to create many bubbles. (Another weird thing I like from cleansers is heaps of foam). It has an artificial, air re-freshener like fragrance but luckily it's light enough to be tolerable.
Overall I think this is ok for winter and when I've no makeup on. But I wouldn't be using this when I want a really thorough clean or if I have makeup on my face.
This is a very gentle face wash and it leaves my skin feeling so soft, and without the dryness that other face washes create. The product is quite thick, and takes a while to squeeze out of the tube, but only a small amount is required to produce a good lather.
Always keen to try skin products and I looked forward to taking off the day's face with Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash. So I lather up a small amount in my hands and spread it gently over my face. With a face cloth, I then begin to wash off this slightly gooey, sticky layer. Blimey, the stuff is like paint stripper! My face is certainly clean after a few wipes and splashes. Even the soft face cloth is whiter than white! My face is stunned with a stiff and sensible cleanliness that would score points for the scrub-it-till-it's-bare fanatics. Oh, my goodness, my face is screaming for the moisturiser, and what a relief that is! My skin is normal, and at my age, not dry at all. I have always looked after it, taken off the makeup, cleaned and moisturised daily. I certainly have never peeled off a layer as this face wash seemed to do. I tried it for several days, but no, not for me. Perhaps if your skin is oily and you want a good value, deep clean, then it might suit you. Give me back my creme cleanser or the micellar waters for a gentle effective cleansing routine.
Tips: Use a gentle cloth and never scrub your face, this product will do the work on its own. As an afterthought, I decided to use the product to clean some silver jewellery; it came up a treat! Now that's telling you something ...
I love this so much I noticed the difference to my skin after 2 days. My skin feels oil free and bonus my face has cleared up a lot it's so glad I got to try this and I even went and brought more so I never fun out
Tips: I did mine in the morning and it made me feel better and ready to tackle the day
When I received this product it had a bit of tape over the lid which made me wonder if it was meant to be there or if it was just put on for postage.
Nothing on the packaging really stood out to me so if it was on the shelf I don't think I would have picked it from the rest of the products.
Simple packaging but i don't find the key things stand out enough.
I squeezed out the clear gel and followed the instructions on the back of the bottle how ever it seemed to take a lot to get any kind of foam going when it does say foaming on the bottle.
Even though the product says soap free I felt like I was just washing my face with soap.
It did remove my makeup that I had on and my skin was clean however it felt dry and not moisturised so I felt I needed to apply another product to moisturise my skin
I liked this facewash, it cleaned really well and didn't irritate my skin at all. I have normal to combination skin and my skin did not feel super dry after I used it, it felt nice and supply after I finished washing my face. The smell of this facewash was pleasant and not overpowering. It comes as sort of a gel / cream and it dissolves easily and does not leave any sticky residue on my face afterwards. I have used my entire tube and I would recommend it to a friend or family member.
This products did not come with any fancy packaging, which is so much better. From the first time I used it, my skin felt silky soft. I loved it, and will certainly continue to use it. Although it may seem expensive, you really do not need to use much, and it does foam up nicely. It is fantastic for anyone who finds that soap dries out their skin. I am sure this will last, but when it runs out, I will certainly be replacing it.
Tips: Make sure you put a small amount in wet hands, it then foams up nicely. Do not use too mcuh
