I think this is a pretty good cleanser option that you can pick up from the supermarket without breaking the bank.
First of all, I was really happy to read Garnier is certified cruelty free. There really is no excuse for testing on animals in 2022, so this is super good news.
This cleanser comes in a tube with a flip top cap. The packaging is relatively sleek, but the busyness of the packaging makes it look a bit less luxurious.
The cleanser itself is good. It has a slightly sweet fragrance but it didn’t linger. The product easily spreads on damp skin. I felt that it did cleanse my skin, but didn’t leave my face feeling tight or stripped.
I think it has made my skin slightly more radiant/less dull. I can’t say it’s removed my impurities or smoothed my skin, but maybe I need to use it longer to see those benefits.
Personally, I prefer a foaming cleanser and something that can remove my eye makeup. I would use this cleanser as a second cleanse, or a cleanser in the morning rather than a product to remove makeup.
Overall, it might not be perfect for my needs given I prefer a cleanser that is foaming and is a bit more eye safe to remove eye makeup, but it is a good cleanser and I will use it up!
I was really surprised with this cleanser, i love the gel feeling to it and the packaging is really cute too! First time trying it & it had removed my mascara and just my daily day make up with ease! I love how it foams really nicely and just a pea size amount does my whole face and the fact it goes for $11.89 at chemist warehouse makes the value of it practically a steal. On day 3 I started to see more of a brighter complexion (in conjunction with using the matching serum). I’m a big fan of vitamin c in my skincare also which makes more of a reason to start adding this into my routine. Again I was really surprised as I’ve never really reached for Garnier products before!
Tips: Pea size amount with rubbing the hands together to make a really nice foam of the cleanser.
