This product is super gel like in consistency, felt really nice on the skin. It didn't leave my skin feeling super tight and dry like some gel cleansers do. It surprisingly took a lot, if not all my make up off also! The price pretty on par with a lot of other brands. I have noticed that my skin feels less uneven, but hasn't reduced any of the dullness I have. Overall I would use this product again and would purchase.

Reviews
This product is a good size, and comes in a fresh looking tube. It doesn't have a pump dispenser (which I am used to using in a cleanser), and it doesn't give you a recommended amount of product to use, means that it is hard to estimate how much product you should be using each time.
It has a really nice fresh scent, it smells of pineapple and lemongrass, which helps in leaving my face feeling refreshed and energised. It promises that it removes makeup and brightens skin. I would still use an oil cleanser first to remove eye makeup and heavier foundation, but this does an adequate job in removing the rest.
This product is not very viscous, and quite 'watery' in texture. This combined with lack of pump means that you can easily use a lot of this product each time.
Overall, a good choice and definitely worth trying if you want a lightweight, fresh feeling cleanser.
Tips: The thin consistency means it can come out quickly, don't use too much at once!
This cleanser comes in a gel form, slightly on the more thin runny side compared to most gel cleansers that I have used. So typically you need less product than what you think you do. The cleanser has slight pineapple scent, most of the time I can hardly smell it. I found this cleanser to soft and gentle on my skin which is quite sensitive. I think overall it has brightened my skin and it’s been a nice addition toy nightly skin care routine. I tested this cleanser with removing makeup and it was amazing, so i think it will help ensure your face is cleaned properly. I think this will be a cleanser I use again but on and off again, it won’t be permanent in my skincare routine.
I only wash my face with a cleansing product at night, morning I prefer just to use warm water which works out well for my skin. After three days I found this cleanser to be a bit drying on my skin so I switched to using every second night and found that to be a great balance; soft glowing skin without any irritation or dryness. Sometimes simple packaging is the best, that’s what Garnier have stuck to for their Green Labs Pinea-C gel cleanser. The tube is easy to grab with wet hands, the cap has a somewhat small hole meaning I’m not accidentally squeezing out giant globs of product I’ll easily be able to get the last dregs out. I love the consistency, it almost has a lubricating slip to it which makes it feel like I’m gently rubbing silk onto my skin, I can’t think of any cleansing products I’ve used with a similar feeling! I do wish the scent was either absent or just toned down a bit. It is kind of sweet and fruity with a chemically undertone which I find to be a bit much, however, I do really like the cleanser and the scent hasn’t caused any irritation so I would repurchase as is.
I really wanted to like this, it promised to be so good!
Not a fan of this one.
Firstly, the packaging was nice and I quite liked the tiny spout as it let me really control the amount I wanted. The whole package is quite large though.
I liked the texture initially but it did lather too much for my liking. The smell was very overpowering and will be too much for many I think. It didn't totally remove my makeup and needed to double cleanse to remove everything.
I also felt like it left my skin too dry and tight and I really needed to moisturize after.
I wouldn't buy this again and probably will gift it away to someone who isn't sensitive.
Tips: If you have drier skin, this is best avoided.
You don't need a huge amount.
The Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Gel Cleanser is a nice and gentle cleanser. The texture is slippery as you would expect from a gel, and a little goes a long way. I was impressed by how well it lathered even on slightly damp skin, although it did take some rinsing to get rid of the slimy feel on my face. It smells really fresh, which I love. After using this product, my face felt smooth and my skin looked bright and my pores were clean. I found the package size generous, and it seems as though the product will last a long time as you only need a small amount to do the job. Overall this cleanser does what it say it will, and I would buy again.
This cleanser is a clear gel with a runny consistency. It lathers lightly and has a slippery texture. It does have a significant pineapple fragrance (perfume) that I enjoy but others may find strong.
I can’t comment on its makeup removing abilities because I have not worn a full face of makeup in a while, but it does remove light concealer and brow powder easily. It didn’t sting my eyes and it rinses away leaving skin feeling fresh.
I have dry skin and didn’t feel like I had to rush to moisturise my skin straight after using this cleanser - it did not leave me with a stripped feeling (but definitely still need to moisturise).
I can’t tell if this cleanser has made my skin brighter at all - I haven’t been using it for long enough, and it’s unlikely that a cleanser would be able to have significant brightening effects due to the low concentration of actives and little time it is on the skin.
I do enjoy using it and don’t see anything wrong with it, but will probably purchase other cleansers over this when it runs out.
Tips: Follow with the serum cream from the same range!
The cleanser has a very liquid consistency, where you genuinely only need a little bit as it spreads easily. The consistency when applied also feels kinda like smearing your face with jelly. The fresh pineapple smell is absolutely divine. After consistently using this daily for just over a week I have noticed a subtle increase in my skin breaking out but can't be sure that the two are linked as there are potentially other factors causing that as well. The bottle the cleanser comes in is easy to use and I imagine there will be minimal wastage based on design and overall consistency. After I've used the gel I do notice a reduction in redness to my cheeks and forehead and my skin does feel clean and brighter.
Tips: Don't use a lot! About a 50c piece size is sufficient for face and neck.
Thanks so much beauty review for giving me the opportunity to review this cleanser. I have been using this every night in the shower since I got it. I love a good gel cleanser and this is definitely in my top favourites. It’s gentle, light weight when applied, leaves you feeling fresh and clean. The scent is also pleasant which is a must, who wants to put something on their face they don’t like the smell of right? I’d highly recommend this product! It’s affordable and beautiful.
Tips: Only use a small amount . A little goes a long way!
The Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Gel Cleanser has a pretty standard texture for gel cleansers and has a light, fruity scent that is noticeableduring application but doesn't linger once you've washed it off. It was a refreshing start to my morning routine and was quite gentle on my skin and I noticed that it did not dry my already super dry skin out, however, I did notice blackheads on my cheek which is incredibly uncommon for me, I only ever get blackheads on my nose, chin and occasionally my forehead, I also noticed that the blackheads on my nose became much larger and noticeable. It could be a coincidence, however I did cease using the cleanser for a couple of days and the blackheads didn't come back. Unfortunately I wouldn't use this cleanser again based on the blackhead situation but I did find that it was a nice refreshing start to my morning routine and would recommend it it to people who don't have issues with blackheads but who suffer with dry skin.
