Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Gel Cleanser

First of all I absolutely LOVE the packaging of this product. The pump is easy to use and it looks super cute on my shelf. It smells amazing and it applies easily and doesn't make my face feel wet or greasy forever. However, I have very dry skin needs so I didn't find that it gave me the moisturiser I needed. I still needed to supplement with another heavier moisturiser and pop this one on before I went out. I did use it exclusively for about 5 days but my poor little face just got far too dry. I think that this would work really well though for people with less moisture needs and I'll probably keep using it alongside my other heavy duty cream. Until it runs out anyway.

I began using this product alongside the Pinea-C vitamin C moisturiser, and was pleasantly surprised. I have fairly normal skin but it gets easily dried and stripped by the wrong products. For this reason, I almost religiously stick to cream/milk cleansers, and tend to avoid gel cleanser for fear of them leaving my skin dry and tight. I was a little apprehensive to use this, but I’m glad I did! This does not dry my skin out at ALL, it leaves it feeling nicely cleansed, brightened and very balanced. The smell is pretty minimal which was nice too. I love the ease of the squeeze tube, and the product size is great as a small dollop easily cleanses my whole face and neck. I really enjoy this cleanser for that slightly deeper-clean feeling than my regular cream cleansers, while still leaving my skin balanced, particularly when using SPF products which tend to sit on my skin a little heavier. I don’t wear makeup, so I can’t attest to its makeup removing abilities, but based on how this feels to cleanse with I imagine it would remove foundation really well. Overall I am very pleased with this cleanser! My skin feels very happy after using it and it provides a great cleansing.

I wasn’t too sure about this cleanser, I’m very careful with cleansers because I had my face raw and peeling from some that have “sensitive” claims. No such trouble with this- it was surprisingly nice, it didn’t seem to irritate, I liked the sulfate free etc Skin definitely felt nice and clean afterwards, but I have a feeling my skin wouldn’t like it morning and night everyday so I’ll be using this sparingly going forward.

The Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Gel cleanser was a pleasant surprise for me, it was gentle on my skin and left my skin feeling fresh and hydrated unlike other cleansers which have left my skin feeling dry. The cleansing gel was effective at removing make up and general day to day build up from my face and left my skin feeling refreshed. I have been using this in combination with the Garnier serum and I can visibly see a difference in my overall skin appearance in just one week.

Loved the packaging on this product. It definitely looks like a premium product, and i would pay more for it. It foams really nicely and doesnt have an overpowering scent like some cleansers. I am not sure about the brightening effect, as I feel like this product would need to be used for a month plus to see the effects of a brightening cleanser. I used this morning and night and felt like my skin was squeaky clean afterwards! It removed my makeup seamlessly.
