When I was in Lush one of the Lush girls was secretly sprinkling this on her workmate, and the smell hit me. I love all the sweet smells from Lush. Snow Fairy is my favourite, I have to stock up so that I don't have to miss that smell!
Fairy Dust is a beautiful scented, sparkling powder that I think is designed to be used like talc. The packaging is the same as the bottle that the shower gels come in - which is a little awkward for a powder... "It's not coming out...i'ts not coming out...it's EVERYWHERE" was my sons exclamation as he wanted to try it.
It's great for those hot days to just pop down your cleavage, maybe TMI, but nobody likes boob sweat ;) My favourite use though has been in my drawers. I still line my drawers, but this time when I replaced it I sprinkled some fairy dust down first. My clothes come out smelling lovely, its great!
This will be a definite repurchase for me, would love to try the other scents too - but different packaging would make it much easier.
Fairy dust!! I was so so excited when I saw this on the lush website the words "fairy dust" had me.. I guess sometimes I am still am a small girl (or part magpie) and anything glittery or shimmery and I'm all over it- Not too much though I don't wanna look all disco ball fever ya know?!
It comes in a clear bottle, identical to the 100ml Lush shower gel bottles so take caution! This fairy dust Ka poofs everywhere. Just a gentle squeeze of the bottle and it comes out, I rub it over my arms it gives just a hint of shimmer and a whole lotta snow fairy scent. It's like lifting the lid on a bottle of snow fairy and taking a whiff except it's all over your skin, it does fade as time goes by but it's rather strong when you first use it.
The bottle suggested to use it on sheets... Well I sprinkled a tiny bit on my side of the bed but the man woke up all shimmer shimmer and wasn't overly impressed with "all that girly stuff" on him. I don't think it really held the scent on the sheets too well either so kept it for using on my arms and legs (when I felt brave enough to bare them)
Overall a nice product but not something I could personally use every day will use it and buy it again next summer.
