Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

All of my friends rav on and on about this mascara. It does work well sometimes, but other times it makes my eyelashes go into all kinds of directions and leaves me looking like a crazy wide eyed lady. Sometimes I get watery eyes and if I have this mascara on it really really burns and makes my eyes even more watery and blood shot. Its great when its great and it is really bad when its bad.

I like this product. I use two to three coats so that my lashes are nice and thick :) I buy it when on sale for my in between times when I can't afford expensive products.

I brought it because it was on sale. All i can say is it didn't do the trick for me. It did not look nice and it did did not last all day.

This mascara is said to be the best selling Maybelline mascara, but I can't really understand why. For me, it doesn't give my lashes much length, but it does volumise them. If you buy the non-waterproof version, it doesn't last all day for me, it flakes off a few hours after application. Not the best mascara, but ok for a more simple look.

I dont understand how this mascara has so much hype; it didn't work for me at all. The product didn't stay on my lashes and smudged terribly throughout the day. It didn't hold a curl, they ended up droppy instead. Also, it leaves your lashes feeling very dry and crusty! Not ideal..

I bought it this cos it was the cheapest at my supermarket and must I say I loved it more than falsies. It didnt clump like other cheap mascaras. Its actually amazing. Personally I find I dont need to apply much to get great lashes. Love!

I grew up with seeing this on my mum's drawers and It's definitely a great wee mascara, it's better than wearing nothing. But i just don't understand why it makes every single 'top ten makeup items' etc. list on earth. I try this every couple of weeks, thinking that the formula will have thickened up whilst sitting in my collection, but it just doesn't improve :(

I don't think its anything special and in comparison to, say, the Falsies, it's mediocre. Though, I guess it's good if you want to just blacken your lashes.

I got one of these free in a magazine i bought, was good, didn't clump and gave me awesome length. The only thing i found was it made my lashes hard.

I've been a fan of this mascara for years. My whole makeup wearing years in fact. Great price no clumps and up until recently I could find it everywhere.
