Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

There is so much hype over this product, it's such a basic, staple mascara that a lot of people seem to love, but not me! I found that it made my lashes clumpy and didn't really lengthen or volumize. I hate how small the bush is, and it seemed to leave black flakes on my face during the day. I do however generally love Maybelline mascaras, such as the One by One & Colossal, this one just left me extremely unimpressed.

I purchased this mascara through one of those travelling makeup sales and was really disappointed. I just found it to be weak and it didn't really coat my lashes like I expected it to. I wouldn't go back to it even though it is a bit cheaper than other brands. I guess you get what you pay for!

Not a very good mascara based on the fact that it does run and end up under your eye... and this is without sweating or crying.... it can be embarassing.. ive tried everything i can to make sure it doesnt end up under the eye and nothing works... in terms of price and what it does... it works ok and is sufficient but you would have to constantly check under your eyes to make sure you dont look like a panda or that you had a cry.. not the best mascara i have tried... probably will not buy again.

I really wanted to like this mascara when I tried it a couple of years ago, but I just didn't. I found the wand to be too narrow and the bristles were too far apart to really coat my lashes without clumping. I don't feel like it is very buildable and don't think it gives enough length and definition to my lashes. I normally enjoy Maybelline mascaras but this one just didn't do it for me :(

This is one of my fall back products, when I'm not swayed by the shiny new packaging of the latest mascara I usually opt for this one. It performs well, very effective in making my lashes look longer and is a good price too!

I find this mascara to be a great all round mascara. We are told to change our mascara every three or so months, so this is a great basic product that doesn't cost the earth to replace. Comes off easily, (although I don't use the waterproof one, so can't say for that one), and thickens and darkens lashes effectively. I have repurchased this product several times, in between using other brands.

This is a classic mascara that has been around forever! It's easy to put on, goes on thick, and easy to take off!

I don't get what all the fuss is about. There are some way better drugstore mascaras out there like the maybelline falsies, clump crusher, max factor false lash effect etc. This one was kind of clumpy and I didn't really see anything special about it.

I used to use this mascara, but have changed to a more expensive alternative for better results. This mascara is good for a slightly more natural look as it doesn't give maximum length or volume, and wasn't prone to clumping unless used over shelf life. Pretty good for the price.
