Sally Hansen Airbrush Lotion

I got this product in the last vault and was very excited to try it out because lotions are usually my favourite way to apply fake tan and I also love the instant tan effect.

Applying this was super easy, put it on your hands and rub it on your skin, you can even get away with not wearing gloves. In fact I wouldn't use my tanning mitt with this product personally.

Coming out of the tube, the lotion reminded me of a BB cream a bit with its look and in application reminded me a bit of a full coverage foundation. When you put it on you'd apply it like foundation, but to your legs. It spends evenly, there are no patches like there can be with fake tan and it drys pretty much instantly. There also doesn't seem to be any transfer which is something I was worried about.

The tan is also buildable like a foundation, so you can make it darker and a little more concealing.

Because this tanner is leg make up it does wash off very easily and only lasts a day or two. Mine lasts two days but is significantly paler on the second day. In the shower you can actually see it washing off your skin, though on the first wash you do still retain a little bit of the colour.

I love the product and it's great for a night out. I wouldn't call my legs airbrushed though, but it definitely produces the best tan I've seen. I wouldn't use it all the time though because it would require too much maintainance.

Im an avid user of fake tans over Summer so when I won this (Thanks BR xx) I was super excited to try it as I had always wondered how well this Sally Hansen 'Leg makeup' worked, but the price had never swayed me to try it.

You can apply this using your bare hands knowing its not going to stain them (tick!). Start with a 20 cent coin sized blob and just rub as you would a moisteriser on clean dry legs, you can keep rubbing in until its all even, and just add more as you need, it really is that simple! The best part is if you make a whoopsie you can just wash it off! In saying that once you have let it set (approx. 5-10mins) it wont come off with just water alone (I got squirted a lot by a water pistol (thanks little bro) and it never ran or came off) I found it didnt rub off on my clothes, and even if it had of I would be confident enough it would come out in the wash. I would even feel ok to sleep with it on. The best way to remove it is in the shower with soap and a flannel to get it all off - easy peasy!

This really does hide my freckles, veins and imperfections and makes my legs look flawless. The colour I have for my fair skin is Medium which seems quite tanned, but dependent on how much you use will determine how it looks as you can build it up - I do like a good tan though!

This is the perfect product for when you haven't had time or have forgotten to apply fake tan and need one in a hurry - Life saver!! I wish I had used this product sooner. Now if only I could find a foundation that sits this well on my face!

Friends have recommended me to try this product anc I was eager to. I have ver light akin and was hoping notbto visit the tan shop never again. But this product didnt really do it for me. I have very dry skin and didn't give my skin any moisture. Yea sadly it didnt.. I felt the product on my face. Didnt give me that tan I wanted

I really really love this product so much because it's so easy to apply and use! I got sent this because I had won a competition and I'm so glad I entered because it has truly changed my life!

The shade is way to dark for my skin to use alone so what I do is use less of the tanning product and add moisturiser to it. I definitely recommend this because you also end up using less product meaning it will last longer. I find that the moisturiser also makes it apply much more smoothly and it lasts quite long as well. Overall great product that everyone needs to go pick up!

To start with I loved what I saw packaging is easy to use and branding is cool.

When I opened it I though gee wiz this is dark. Way to dark for me. But I had read a review on tanners on BE where the lady mentioned to always go darker... so I thought I would give it a go. I'm glad I did the results were fantastic. Im lucky to have olive skin but when I received this it was the start of summer and I hadn't had a chance to tan up and had a fancy 60th to go. So perfect timing!

Application. Pop a good size in of the cream on your palm and rub in thoroughly. You will need to rub for a good minute or so to assure even coverage. Concentrating on the rubbing well around the knee and ankle area to get perfect coverage around those areas. Allow to dry for a few minutes before dressing. Result: Amazingly flawless tanned blemish free legs!

What I love about this product is the fact it isn't like standard fake tan but a foundation for your legs. It washes off in the shower. Give it a god you will love it.

First of all, this is not Fake Tan. Like they say - it is Make up. It washes off very easily... even in rain.

The one I got was in a tube and ya squeeze it out, not the aerosol as shown above. I'm feeling I would probably prefer it in the aerosol as it would be easier to use.

It dries fairly quick so you do need to work quickly at evenly dispersing it over the skin.

The coverage is excellent! It covered all my skin imperfections and left a glowing tan on my legs. Though I wouldn't say it looked natural, however I don't mind that too much.

Like I said, it washes off well. So getting it off your hands isn't an issue. Just remember to get between your fingers!

I was sent the deep colour which is a bit too dark for me, but i tried it and found it went on really easily, covered really well, and looked natural, just a shame it was a it dark for me.

I actually need this stuff in my life and i've introduced it to several people, all of whom also think it's amazing! I've used the original version of this (in a can) for years, and now that it's in a tube I love it even more, it's so much better.

This product is essentially a tinted foundation for your legs, making your skin look so much smoother, healthy and glowing.

You apply this product as you would with any regular lotion, although I suggest applying to the main surface areas of your legs and thighs first, and doing around your knees and ankles last. Simply do your best to spread the lotion evenly, it's super easy to get a nice even coverage without any patchiness.

You need only wait a few minutes before dressing as it settles onto your skin very quickly, and is for the most pat non-transferable. It's also quite water resistant, but for one time only. By that I mean I can go swimming or shower with it on (providing you don't use any types of soaps on your legs), and it still looks good afterwards. The second time that you shower with it on you will need to scrub it off as it will begin to come off patchilly after that. It washes off very easily with any type of body wash and a bit of light abrasion.

I sincerely beleive that this is a truely great product, I would (and I do!) recommend it to everyone, especially those who are not so comfortable baring bare legs!
