I bought 2 colours Street flair-a pretty lilac Tan-acious- a nude I followed the instructions and applied 2 coats of colour and then the top coat. The polish dried quite quickley and looked awesome with the top coat. Quite glossy. The test came when I went to work and did my usual stuff. I am happy to say it lasted 8 days. Wow! I was so pleased with this result. It comes off with your usual nail polish remover,so easy. I will be buying more amazing colours.

I brought this because I was heading away on holiday and thought it would be a perfect idea not having to worry about chipping nail polish. I got the colour Purplexed and it is such a beautiful colour I love it, but I was quite disappointed when I only got 3 days out of it. I put 2 coats on and one top coat and even swiping an extra bit on the tips and it started to chip on the third day and I am currently studying so wasn’t doing anything strenuous. However, the second go I made it to 5 days so maybe it was all about my technique. I really like the colours they are starting to bring out and will still use because they still last longer than ordinary nail polish. It is also easy to remove with nail polish remover so thats always a bonus.
I purchased these 2 colours as i already have all of the other shades from the original releases from last year. I will start with the different colours and application of each, then will get on to the polishes as a hole. "Game of Chromes" - one word LOVE! its the perfect glittery, without been glittery, sparkly gold. It applied like a dream, with only needing 1 coat instead of the 2-3 i would usually need with other colours. The glitter, which isnt a glitter, is more like sparkles, its so hard for me to find the words for what it looks like. This one is my FAVOURITE! "hunger Flames" - Purpley Pink and stunning! I had high hopes for this as i love Purple and it didnt disappoint. Application i used 2 coats to get that perfect base, it took about 15 minutes to dry, and the colour is nearly an exact match to what you see in the bottle. Now for the overall stuff. SH polishes have the best brushes, they are large enough that you really only need to swipe 3 times on each nail, for each coat, excluding pinky, which i used one swipe per coat. Drying time of both of these was 15 minutes max. Once the top coat is applied, my nails were shiny just like a decent Gel mani from a salon. The formula on these 2 in particular, are very different to the other ones i have. The polish itself is thin kind of like Orly and OPI, whereas the other more subtle shades (creme de la creme, Malibu peach etc) are in my opinion are more thick in texture. On my nails, these 2 colour lasted 9 days before fading at the tips, but please bear in mind that i use ISO and use my hands ALOT due to work. I think with all polishes, if you look after your hands and dont use ISO continuosly throughout the day, the colour would last MUCH longer. Removal, EASY! even GOC, its not chunky glitter, so is so simple to get off. do i reccommed? yes! I cant wait to get MORE of the new range, so these are a WIN!
Tips: dont forget to swipe the top coat across the tips of your nails to help prolong the tips from fading. xx
I own the colour Malibu Peach and the only reason I bought this nail polish was because of this colour. I didnt care about the long lasting power and magic gel polish, I just wanted Malibu Peach because I'd never seen such a beautiful peach in my life... Oh and I mention it long lasting as well as beautiful? :)
This nail polish colour applies smooth and sleek as you would typically expect from a Sally Hansen nail polish and the colour is quite opaque and pigmented. Its a burst a peach heaven with just one coat. I typically love 2 coats of any nail polish because I love an intense colour. The colour is not hard to apply, its not streaky and most of all its quick drying. By the time I've completed both hands the first hand is dry! A+ in my books.
The addition of the gel polish to this line is just amazing! Not only are getting intense colour from the nail polish but the gel is giving you a diamond shine and seals the nail polish to be long wearing. I'm quite harsh on my nail day to day and when I use this nail polish combination I get at least 10 days with chip free nails and the colour is as intense as when I first applied it. It doesnt quite last me 14 days but on day 14 my nails are looking much better with only minor chips then it wouldve with a regular nail polish. The only slight negative is that I find the gel take long to dry but thats just because I'm impatient and have the attention span of a flea :)
I also love that this nail polish and gel are easy to remove with a regular nail polish remover. You would think you need a tank of remover to remove all the layers of nail polish you applied but just a few swipes and the nail polish is completely gone.
Do I love it? YES! Will I keep buying this? You bet I will! And do I recommend each and every human own this nail polish? Heck yes! Go out and buy this!
Tips: Own every colour! This is amazing
I purchased a few of these after reading online reviews (I had high expectations) I purchased: Top Coat, Get Mod (450), Birthday Suit (110), Pinky Promise (160) and Malibu Peach (380). My favourite is probably Pinky promise its similar to OPI Mod about you. The Good: These are amazingly easy to apply and remove (regular nail polish remover works like a dream), the look lovely and shiny when applied (not as glossy as gel from the salon though. They are a decent price for the quality and the colour range is very good - it's even better if you buy from the US.
The Bad: That being said, the polish did not perform as well as I expected it to! I followed the instructions religiously and had corners peeling after day two on my thumbs and index fingers :( I have kept trying to make these work because I bought so many. It definitely helps if you cap the edges of your nails and wait for each layer to dry. I have got them to last 5 days at most and thats witth reapplying to my index and thumb (the other nails seem to last fine!).
Overall: They last better than regular nail polish just not AS well as I'd hoped!
Tips: Make sure to follow instructions and paint over the edges, it nail polish normally lasts longer than 2 days on you this will work perfectly for you (I usually get 1 or 2 days with regular polish)
I received some of these for xmas this past year and I was really excited to try this polish but it was not as good as I thought it would be,it chips off within two days and never really feels like a gel polish just regular nail polish.plus its expensive.
I am absolutely terrible when it comes to nails polish. I put it on, wear it for one day, notice chips then start picking at it. This nail polish takes a lot longer to chip so I don't pick at it. I don't think it would last 14 days even for people who are good with nails but it is still worth the $16.99 in my books.
Tips: Make sure you use the top coat so it comes out shinier and it does last longer.
My work mate knew I was looking for a nail polish that would last for more then 2 days before chipping. That's when she said to try the sally Hansen miracle gel range. When she said gel I straight away thought I would have to get the heat lamp to which my surprise it's a two step application and it dried on its own. The polish is quite thick but I think that's because it needs to be so it stays on for longer. I am very impressed as it lasted for about 5 days without chipping. I would definitely buy again
I was given this as a present and I was so excited to try it. I have a pack with the shade Pretty Piggy and a top coat. The colour is a gorgeous coral pink.
The first thing I noticed is the glorious brush. It is wide and flat, in contrast to the rounded shape of most polish brushes. The end of the brush is also curved, shaped like the nail base. It's such a clever idea that I am suprised to not have come across this type of brush before now. The wide flat brush with the curved tip makes application super easy. The brush almost acts as a reservoir and allows more polish to come down onto the brush over time, so be aware of that.
Once on, the polish dries fairly quickly, though is susceptible to knocks and smudges until the 24 hour cure point. The top coat is likewise easy to apply and dries reasonably quickly.
Unfortunately wear time is nowhere near the 14 days claimed. I have to remove this after two days of wear, if not before, due to extreme chipping (not just tip wear). To be fair, I am very hard on my nails (lots of intense exercise including boxing and I wear gloves and wash my hands constantly at work) and no other nail polish lasts on me either.
I will keep using this however, and possibly pick up some other shades. I find some times I apply it it lasts longer than other times.
Sadly the shade range here is not that great, but hopefully they will bring some of the colours I have seen overseas to New Zealand eventually.
Tips: Use thin layers of polish and allow enough drying time
so i brought two colours and a top coat and iv got to say over any other gel polishes i have tried this one has got to be the best...they do come in some pretty cool colour i have got one called game of chromes...shimmering gold colour...this stuff stands up to the test and some pretty hard wear and tear...it dries quickly and with a top coat on it can last me up to 2 weeks with minimal chipping...comes off really easily with any normal nail polish remover and not any special gel polish remover. i would recommend this to anyone looking for a long lasting gel polish
Tips: make sure when you buy the base you buy the top coat as well for a much better and much longer lasting polish
