Tips: Go lightly, they have great pigmentation. Some dupes for Nars Orgasm and Angelika in their blush range.
I have this in St Lucia and I've heard all over youtube that its a dupe for a Nars one that's like this (i cant remember the name). Firstly pigmentation of the bronzer is great, although very very dark. I tend to use this more for a night look because it is more dramatic. But the blush is rather disappointing for ELF. Lacks pigmentation, just leaves a lot of glitter on the skin. So its only the bronzer that's really getting used in mine but if your looking for a cheap dark bronzer...here she is.
I love the blush I got with this! Its sucha subtle but noticeable blush that easy to blend. Its got little shimmers in it too! The bronzer uhm not my fave its too glittery for my taste!
Tips: Its cheap!
Pretty good product when you think of how cheap it is. Its super pigmented so I only use the bronzer when I'm going out and want a harsher look. The blush however is really nice and flattering on my skin tone. Has some sparkles in there which I don't mind but I know not everyone does.
If you're looking for a cheap, sparkly bronzer and blush, then this is for you! This is amazingly affordable. I personally didn't like the sparkle it gave and I found I used the bronzer a lot more than the blush, the blush then came unstuck from the packaging - but that's what you get for such a cheap product :-)
Tips: I would recommend this to someone on a tight budget, or someone who is new to make-up :-)
I purchased my due kit in the shade "Turks and Caicos", which offers two shimmery shades, one a bronzer and the other a blush. The bronzer is full of gold reflects which add a dimension to makeup, but the bronzer can be muddy if used to liberally and not blended well. The bronzer can also be quite orange if too much is used on the face, but it luckily suits my skin tone as I am a lot darker toned, this therefore would probably not suit some one with lighter skin, unless blended well with little product used. The blush is also full of shimmer with gold reflects and it is a rosy dark pinky colour which adds a nice flush to my cheeks, this I think would suit most people, but again use lightly. They are both well pigmented for the price, but are not long lasting and will wear off through out the day. But overall for the price this kit is a nice cheap alternative for some of the pricier brands.
Tips: Use with a light hand and gradually build up, as it is easier to add more than take off. Also blend well to avoid a muddy effect.
If you are looking for a highly pigmented long lasting blush/bronze duo and don't mind sparkles this is for you. I have had this in the shade 'turks and caicos' a wonderful peachy rose blush and a super dark almost cocoa bronzer would be fab for tanner/darker skintones than myself as it is sooo pigmented on my fair skin I had to give it away - I am also not a fan of the gold glittery sparkles throughout the product.
Tips: Very good product for the price, just not for me as I am so fair and this is quite dark (the bronzer just unusable on me only useable as a chocolate toned eyeshadow on my complexion) and I don't like sparkles in my blush/bronzer.
I use this most days for bronzing. I think it performs pretty well for the price, although the blush isn't very pigmented, I think its great for every day casual wear, and as above, for the price it's great!
I bought this online in the colour St Lucia, I had heard good thing about one of the shade, but since this was the only colour available I thought I would try. Sadly I was quite disappointed, the blush looks a nice colour, but doesn't have good pigmentation at all and hardly shows on the skin. The bronzed is ok and I do use this in moderation regularly, but to dark for me to use as a contour shade. I really would try the other shades, because for that price, as I have heard that they have some nice blush colours.
Tips: The bronzer is quite dark and I small but on a brush goes along way, so be careful how much u put on your brush.
I have only recently started contouring and this is pretty much my only bronzer so I don't have much to compare it too but I do like the effect it gives. It is quite pigmented so I only need a small amount otherwise it looks a bit much!
The blusher doesn't seem to be very dark, I can put quite a bit on the brush and it comes off very light. It's easy to build up though. It is a pretty colour, a natural kind of pink.
For the price, I think it's a great buy especially for beginners like me. I've heard this is a dupe for the nars blush/bronzer duo but as I've never tried them, I'm not sure on that one. You can always practice with this and move on to more expensive products later on.
Tips: I got mine from iherb, (I have amassed quite a decent elf collection from there now!)
