I really loved the idea of this product and was really excited to give it a try. I have dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes and it did do pretty good at cover the darkness but It still creased where my wrinkles were and was a bit too sparkly for under my eyes.
Wow, this stuff is like magic. I have been waiting a long time for it to come back into stock on iHerb, and then make it's way to me, but it has been worth the wait.
It comes in a little pottle, with it's own little brush. I'm not a fan of the brush so I just use another of my own. It's fantastic for setting my under eye concealer, and hiding my dark circles. I think it makes me look about 5 years younger! (Or just way less tired).
It does have a slight shimmer to it, but I don't find it overpowering or too dramatic. I can barely tell unless I look closely under lights. It doesn't add any depth of colour, so it's a perfect 'invisible' lift.
I found it really easy to apply and blend, I've had no problem with streaking or patchiness.
Great product at such a bargain price.
I absolutely love this product so much. I use it everyday to stop my under eye concealer. You can never use too much because it is a very fine powder and it is transparent. It has little reflecting shimmers, so instead of it being a matte finish it gives a nice fresh look. It makes your eyes look more open and it doesn't settle into fine lines. Love this product so much! I use the Real Techniques setting brush to apply this and it works like a dream! The price is totally out of the question it is so cheap for such a great product. I couldn't fault this even if i tried!
ever since seeing my favourite beauty guru rave about this, i have been hooked! it keeps my concealer crease free and stays all day long! i love the little bits of shimmer. for such an affordable price, it really is amazing!
Tips: apply with a fluffy brush, tap off excess so you do not apply too much!
This product is packaged in a nice and simple way and the product is indeed really silky feeling. However, I found when I applied it to my undereye area it was much too shimmery for my liking. In certain lights it even looked like I had put glitter under my eyes, when I prefer a matte look on my skin.
The product itself is really good at setting the concealer I put under my eyes, and it is a crazy good price so I would possibly purchase it again.
I was very excited to try this product out because of all the hype around it, and I was a little disappointed with it (I love the rest of the e.l.f range though!)
Great for setting MAC prolongwear concealer! Doesn't crease or go cakey. Agree with the other reviews about fiddly lid and you usually get more product on your brush than you want but the product itself is great. Purchased off iherb and its such a bargain!
This is an OK product, but like many of the e.l.f products it's over rated. I don't hate it but I doubt I would purchase this again even though it's so cheap on iHerb.
Biggest problem with this powder is it is very white and needs to brushed on and blended properly else it looks silly. The glitter isn't too noticeable and I actually like that as it makes my undereye area look much fresher and brighter than without using it. BUT the effect doesn't last all day, which is something I've found with most e.l.f stuff I have purchased.
Make sure your concealer is completely dry before putting this (or probably any setting powder) on as I didn't and had these funny streaky marks under my eyes. Looked crazy!
I think it's a good product for beginners, and if like me you wanted to try something new without dropping huge money on something.
I'm glad I tried it but will look for a different brand when I've finished this pot. Which, of course, will be forever away as you only need a very small amount of product and I can see this lasting a long time.
Tips: The packaging and brush are complete poo. Throw the brush away and put it into another container if you do purchase this.
Love this under eye powder! When I first opened it I was worried as it appears glittery, but once blended under your eyes it's not glittery at all! Definitely makes my eyes appear more awake. I have massive problems with creasing under my eyes, I found the elf powder amazing for stopping this. And stopping patching in the summer. Mine was $10 at Kmart. Now that its winter it's a little drying under my eyes so I use less and it seems to be perfect.
Tips: If anyone likes the Wayne goss powder before foundation trick this works perfectly if you just do your t zone!
I ordered this stuff on a whim not sure how to use it or anything.
It is packaged in a cute little pottle with a tiny little brush, very cute! It is a super fine translucent powder with a light shimmer in it.
I didn't really know how to use the powder initially and given it's shimmer I wasn't too sure about putting it all over my concealer around my eyes, so personally I use a tiny little bit under my bottom lash line, and around both corners of my eyes. It has an awesome brightening effect around the inner corners of my eyes, and applying it under my lash line and in the outer corner stops my eyeliner from moving completely! I was seriously amazed when my eyeliner didn't smudge one bit after using this, but without it my eyeliner starts to smudge within an hour or two! (the joys of pencil, cause I'm too unco for liquid haha).
I don't think I could live without this stuff now! I haven't come across another product that does anything like this.
Tips: Only use a teeny tiny bit, that really is all you need. This little pottle will last ages!
