I used this for ages (about 3 years?) because it was cheap, and I've never had my hair professionally dyed, so I guess I didn't really know much about it. I always founds my scalp would itch while it was on, and sometimes i would have sore, weeping patches for a couple of days after use (i know, that's terrible, and I should have just stopped using it, but i was scared to use anything different because i thought my hair might fall out!). I told the lady at my local Hardy's store and she put me onto organic hair dye, which i didn't react to, but it was REALLY expensive, and made my hair feel so weird and squeaky clean that it was near on impossible to brush after. After a while I switched to Live Oleo which is amazing. I would never go back to using this (i hate to write a review which is really just going on about how much better another product is, but I have to be honest!) with this, my skin hurt and my hair stunk of chemicals for days afterwards, it also didn't provide the same shine as the Oleo. As far as actually being a long lasting colour, it was fine, however it certainly didn't leave it feeling silky or looking shiney, if anything, a bit like straw! If you want soft, try Oleo. As for the skin reaction, maybe my skin just doesn't like the harshness, i guess, but the quality of my hair has improved greatly by using the Oleo and i haven't had any ithcy or sore scalp post home dye since I switched from this one.

Tips: This is a good, cheap starting point. it certainly does give good colour, and it's easy to apply.
This has always been my go to brand for hair colour. Its almost always the cheapest brand at the supermarket and Ive had no problems using it, ever. I get a lot of grey strands now (I'm only 26! Thanks Mum...) but I find this product covers it all. Easy application too.
I absolutely love this hair colour range! They have such beautiful vibrant colours and they smell AMAZING after you have rinsed the colour out! I especially love the red shades in this range! This product doesn't dry out your hair like most box colour dyes and it doesn't irritate your scalp!
This is my go to hair dye. It really does do a nice colour (if applied properly) and does last a decent amount of time. I dont like the feeling while its developing as it stings my scalf a but. And the smell is so intense! but the things we do for great hair. So because its a good price i do repurchase it. Because my hair very very long i do have to use 2 boxes
I m been used garnier twice, and both times have not comfortable feeling . It s been burning and itching. I think it s not for sensitive skin ,it sad because i m really like that fruity smell after garnier use.
I'm not committed to any one home hair colour because there are just so many out there that are amazing! The hair colour that usually gets selected among all my favourites is the one that is on sale (yes I know alot of you do this as well) and Garnier Nutrisse is a regular on sale so its a regular in my every 6-8 weeks routine.
The amount of product is perfect for my hair which gives me a even spread and saturation every time. The colour creme does however give my scalp a slight tingle and the smell of the dye is quite overpowering and strong, but hey, I have windows in my bathroom.
I always love how I'm able to achieve the same colour as promised, the colour is long lasting and I only find fading of the colour toward the end of 6-8 weeks.
The conditioner deeply nourishes my hair and there is enough for about 2-3 washes.
My is vibrant, shiny and well nourished with no dryness which I so often get with many other hair dye brands. The price is also affordable which is a big plus for me.
This will continue to be a favourite of mine
This was a very nice dye to use, the smell was actually somewhat pleasant and It's creamy so its easy to use, and it didn't drip and splatter all over the bathroom. The conditioner it comes with is very very nice, thick and fruity smelling, but really really hard to get it all out of the little hard plastic bottle! It left my hair in fantastic shiny condition, but as with most reds I've tried it faded by the end of the 2nd week (I should probably note I normally wash my hair everday out of necessity). Then I looked more like I had brown hair, which is not exactly the final result I was after. Overall I would use it again if I was going brunette, but not for red.
this product is great I use it alot and the colour is great it makes my hair fell soft and very colourful it also dose a great job on covering the greys as I have heaps on the side of my head. I love this product.
Iv been using Garnier for years and Iv found it's the only product that actually works for Me. It's easy to use when applied (Drip Free) and No Harsh Chemical smell which I love, Vibrant Colour Results all time and The Conditioner Smells Amazing leaves your Feeling Super Soft!!
Tips: It's always a Bonus when Garnier Nutrisse is on Special at The Warehouse for $1O LOL =]
I have been bought this brand a few times now, as a colour to put in to freshen up my hair, while im trying to grow my hair an dam avoiding the salons. Its very affordable, and does what it says. I find my hair does fade fast but i feel you get that with most supermarket dyes.
