This product leaves your hair smelling great but at the beginning it made my hair feel like straw some days. As i have long thick hair it also won't last me long as it is not the size of bottle i would usually purchase. It has left my hair looking fuller as it has said, but as my hair is already quite think this as left it fairly frizzy. The packaging of this product is nice but i would only purchase this again if it is on sale to see if it does anything after a longer period of time.

Before i trailed this product for a month, my hair was dull, had no body and just hung limp, as I can not afford salon brands all the time was really looking forward to a great supermarket brand - this is it, my hair is fuller could tell after 2 weeks. Now a month after its shiny, full and people are commenting on it! yay! the damage done by bleach really has been greatly improved,
The smell is natural and beautiful, no fake aromas. Lovely big bottles and after a month I am only half way through and the lid is on the bottom, so you don't waste any.
The best supermarket brand I have ever tired, will use it faithfully.
Tips: it lathers! not had any before that did that, so you don't need much or you will be rinsing it out forever, about the size of a 50c piece is more then enough for my long hair
I have been using this conditioner for about 2-3 months and haven't noticed a big change to my damaged hair but when it is freshly washed my hair is quite smooth and silky. After a couple of days though my hair starts to get quite dry. It makes my hair smell really nice which is a bonus. I will probably end up repurchasing as I would like to see if my hair becomes restored.
Tips: I also use the hair masque that goes with this hair range and it makes the ends of my hair go nice and soft.
I have really dry and damaged hair from years of straightening, blow drying and hair colouring etc so i'm always eager to try out new conditioners and products that claim to restore damaged hair. The packaging/ bottle is nice, it smells fairly good and isn't too pricey but it didn't really do anything too special to my hair. The product claims to leave your hair feeling stronger, looking fuller, looking revitalized, silkier to touch and with a healthy shine- I found that all it really did was make my hair feel a bit softer and that was about it. There are better products out there if you are willing to pay the price. The conditioner is fine if you don't have dry, damaged hair.
Paired with the L'Oreal shampoo, this bottle is a miracle worker on my Polynesian curls. It has a beautiful smell, and makes your hair so soft and adds a shine to it! So happy with the overall results, and as I said in the my shampoo review, it made my curly hair flat when it was straightened. Definitely sticking with this range, I fully recommend this to anyone who has untamed hair like me. This is a must-try! x
This conditioner smells amazing and looks great in the packaging. I went four days without washing my hair, I didn't even need to use dry shampoo until the 4th day. this is unheard of for my hair! I was very impressed. My hair remained smooth and glossy even after straightening! Usually if I use conditioner, I need to wash my hair the next day, very happy about this!! I have long, coloured, damaged hair from straightening and blow drying but unfortunately over the trial period I did not see a difference in my hair condition. might need to use for a longer period. It did however take away some frizzyness. After using the conditioner, there were still knots left in my hair which other conditioners I use usually get rid of when washed out so this was a bit disappointing for me.
I am a hairdresser by trade so I was keen to give supermarket brands a whirl and see what they are like. I have been using Redken for about 7 years.
This conditioner is horrible!! It is so watered down and thin. It made my hair knotty and messy that I could not even run my fingers through my wet hair. A problem I have not had since I was 12!
I mixed and matched the Redken conditioner and shampoo with this Loreal conditioner and shampoo. Every time I used this conditioner, no matter if it was Redken shampoo or Loreal, my hair was in tatters. However, if I used any of the shampoos and my Redken conditioner, my hair was smooth and lovely. So it was definitely the conditioner at fault.
The shampoo was great, but the conditioner did not work well with my hair type.
Tips: Don't hesitate to mix different shampoo and conditioner brands. If you've got a great shampoo but a bad conditioner, just mix and match till you find the perfect combo.
I always get excited at the prospect of using a new conditioner. I am still trying to achieve the salon feel at home.
Unfortunately, although this conditioner smells very nice it did little to my hair and left it feeling dry and weighed down by product.
My hair is very long and dry and in desperate need of a good moisturising conditioner.. This product was not impressive to me and would not be worth the $8.99 price tag
Tips: Apply alot to your hair to coat.
After using the shampoo, conditioner, conditioning spray and treatment from the Loreal Elvive range it is the conditioner that I would describe as the runt of the litter. It still does the job, and it will still be reached for, but it's just not as spectacular.
Like all of the Loreal Paris products, the packaging is sleek, sturdy and the cap clicks on and off easily. The product inside is a little on the runny side, and we all know it is already difficult enough to get the conditioner to stay on the hair. I use this after shampooing and squeezing as much moisture out of my hair as possible. I then apply a very generous amount and leave it in for a few minutes. It smells like a salon conditioner which is a lovely bonus.
My hair doesn't tend to be particularly knotty after using shampoo and conditioner. However, I could hear my hair ripping whilst attempting to get the knots out, even when using a tangle teezer. The reason I use conditioner is to make it quick and easy to brush out my hair, and it felt like I had skipped the step entirely. I would be very hesitant to reverse wash with this conditioner.
The Loreal Paris Elvive conditioner did leave my hair soft. I wouldn't say it did a lot in terms of repairing, but it initially felt smooth and silky. However this work is undone when I have to attack my hair to get the knots out.
For someone with shorter, thinner hair I'm sure this would perform well. But that's it: it's good but not great. I will not be repurchasing this product, as if I continue to use it I will need to be very generous with the conditioning spray (which is amazing).
Tips: Combine this product with the Loreal Elvive conditioning spray as the conditioner will soften the hair, and the spray will detangle.
This is a great product that complements the shampoo excellently. I really enjoy using it and will continue to do so in future. My hair has a wonderful shine to it and looks more 'alive' than it usually does. This conditioner has a great smell and texture too. I can't stop playing with my hair either - it's so soft and smooth! I absolutely love the way this product makes my hair look and feel.
Tips: A little goes a long way! A small amount is all you need.
