I tried this a while ago as my go-to hair mask had sold out. While it did smell nice, I can't say that I noticed much of a difference in the smoothness of my hair. If anything it just felt as though I had shampooed and conditioned my hair.

This mask comes in a decent size white tub with a red screw on lid, I found it quite hard to use especially in the shower when you've got some product on your hands and you're trying to screw the lid back on. The mask has a nice flowery smell to it which I liked smelling on my hair, but I'm not sure it worked as well as it should of for me. It didn't feel like it repaired my hair and give it as much moisture as I would want when using a mask. I continued to use it though instead of a conditioner after shampooing my hair.
I don’t understand all the bad reviews for this hair mask, I have repurchased this several times, finding it harder to get though, warehouse usually stocks it.
My hair always feels so good after using it, it’s soft to touch, looks shiny and smells incredible. I think my favourite thing about this hair mask is the scent, I just really like it in my hair and it lingers pretty long as well.
I’m not sure it’s actually repairing my damaged hair or just coating it with silicones, but it just looks so much better when I use it, not as good as after a kerastase hair mask of course, but pretty close to it I’d say.
Price wise it’s really affordable, I think it’s worth a try, it works wonders for me, you might have luck with it too. :)
I have just about completed my first jar and will DEFINITELY be purchasing again. After I started bleaching my hair at the beginning of the year I had to go on the hunt for a hair mask to get some moisture back into my hair, and this did it! I just wash my hair like normal and then once a week I put this in after shampooing, I tend to leave it in for 20 minutes or so, then just rinse out and style my hair like usual. My hair doesn't feel as damaged as I assumed it would after the multiple bleaching sessions it has been through so I love it.
Tips: Treat your hair and leave it in for longer than the recommended time. Your hair deserves it :)
Would definitely purchase this product again very hydrating hair mask smells amazing and hear feels so soft once hair is dried.
This creamy white goodness comes in a generous sized 300ml pot. What i really like about it is that it is thatbit contains ceramides. I use a small dab of this on my short hair instead of conditioner. Left on for a couple of minutes while I wash my body, it rinses out well and leaves my hair feeling nourished and soft. No discernable scent.
I love to use a mask on my hair at least once a fortnight and this one is a great price and makes a difference in the condition of my hair. I have my hair highlighted and it is also quite long so needs to be looked after otherwise it breaks easily. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone wanting to repair the condition of their hair without spending a lot.
Tips: Pop it on when you do a face mask, a nice weekly or fortnightly treat.
I use this product twice a week and I love how soft and shiny it makes my hair after using it.
It also makes my hair a lot more manageable to style and smells great as well.
I will definitely keep buying this as I love how it makes my hair feels and it's super affordable as well
The texture of this is weird first off. I saw no difference in the moisture of my hair. I would never buy this again. Very disappointed
I found this hair mask on sale at a pharmacy, so I decided to give it a try. I have fine, dry hair. My hair becomes even drier when I lighten it. Hair masks are more powerful than regular conditioners, and I find them to be better for restoring moisture to hair.
The Elvive repair 5 mask comes in a 300ml tub. The tub is an odd shape: round on top with a round lid, but oval-shaped and narrower towards the bottom, making it top-heavy. The container is mostly white, with a red brim around the lid. The lid is large, and easy to unscrew, if slightly awkward to manoeuvre. The product itself is white.
The hair mask can be applied by dipping your fingers into the product, scooping it out, and massaging into your hair. I have applied this in the shower to my damp hair after I have shampooed and rinsed it. I have then left it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it out. It is easy enough to apply, if a little gloopy. But the hair mask feels moisturising and rich to the touch. The scent is quite perfumed and sweet, like a shampoo.
I have been using this once a week for a month or so, and it has worked well. It is specifically designed to repair damaged hair. The “5” in the name comes from the 5 signs of damaged hair that it claims to fight. The Elvive mask claims to: repair, strengthen, prevent damage, create a silky touch, and a healthy shine. My hair has been softer, silkier and in better condition than when I have only used an ordinary conditioner after shampooing.
I do like this hair mask. I have not used that many hair masks, so I do not know if it is the best out there. But it has been working for me. I think I may repurchase this in future.
