NIVEA Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream

I bought this moisturiser because it said "pure and natural" and because the price was reasonable. I also do like Nivea products in general and felt it was a brand I could trust. Upon opening the container, I found the cream to be so thick that I immediately checked the label to make sure I hadn't accidentally bought a night cream. I was astonished that they would make such a thick cream a day cream. While I adore the scent, I find it just too heavy as an everyday moisturiser and my skin hasn't reacted very well either, with minor breakouts and a kind of clogged feeling. The cream is lovely and silky and absorbs well, but just too much for my skin (my skin type is normal - I have pretty good skin which hardly ever breaks out and isn't too dry). I would recommend this cream if you have dry skin or would like a heavy duty moisturiser, but be aware that it is pretty thick.

I love Nivea products! Including the pure & natural day creams :) definitely moisturizes my skin well and my sensitive skin had no bad reactions (other than some short term redness after application). I stopped using it for a few days and in that time i noticed my skin was noticeably drier and my foundation did not sit well on my face - shows how important moisturizing is and this moisturizer does the trick!

I have tired other Nivea products and moisturisers, as even though I would buy them again, I really do like this one. It has a nice light formula and very light scent. This product really did leave my face smooth and soft and low irritant as well.

My only bug bear - no SPF!

I always look for a light/medium weight moisturizer that doesn't make my skin feel sticky or thick and this was so nice to use. It has a pleasant scent and a little goes a long way that's for sure! The simple branding is nice and basic, there isn't too much going on and it comes in a pretty glass twist jar that is handy to use around the house after you've finished with all your moisturizer :)

I am on my second tub of this now, so it's probably time to write a review. This is now my favourite daily moisturiser to apply straight before I apply my makeup.

The packaging is really simple and neat. It comes in a tub so is easy to scoop out the amount you need. I recommend you do so with clean hands to limit bacteria going into the rest of the product.

It has a very light "clean" scent, and soaks into the skin really fast which is what I look for in a day cream - since I am about to put makeup overtop and don't want it slipping and sliding around.

The texture of the cream is very wet and almost liquidy. This helps it soak into the skin so easily. It's also very soothing and leaves your face feeling fresh and clean.

This is actually quite a thick moisturiser and might suit either a more mature skin or someone with dry skin. I sometimes use this at night because of its heavier consistency. The fragrance of this moisturiser is really nice. The only thing I would say it's lacking for me as a day time moisturiser is that I can't see any mention of an SPF in this product. I definitely prefer my moisturiser to have sun protection.

I really like this moisturiser, it soaks into the skin quickly, leaving it smooth and hydrated. My foundation always went on perfectly over top.

I don't know what it is with Nivea moisturizers but they just do not click with my skin. I tried this thinking it would work for me with mire natural ingredients but sadly no. Left my skin slightly greasy. Also made me feel like my foundation was going to slip off my face.
