Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Review

A friend recommended this to me when I said I was going to get some new mascara, so I picked up a mini. It's fine enough - I really like the brush, and it applies nicely. I don't have issues that other people seem to suggest where they end up with mascara on their eyelids.

I do find it smears during the day, and I often end up with mascara smudged under my eyes. I haven't had this issue with any other mascaras and I don't rub my eyes, so I have no idea how this happens.

It's a pity because if it didn't smear, I could forgive the price as it applies really smoothly and makes my lashes look amazing.

I have been rebuying this mascara over and over again after recieving it in travel size as a gift. The first thing that makes it so amazing is the fact that there is ZERO clumping. I really like the weight of the wand that you hold as it is a little heavy but makes it easy to apply. Theres something about the brush that works with the fluid to make my eye lashes super beautiful, long, and black. I bought a Maybelline mascara in between purcashes of this and the difference was a lot - it was clumpy and messy. If you want a go to mascara that lasts ages and does the trick with no fuss, grab this!

This is literally the best mascara I have used. My lashes look so long, thick and beautiful. It does not smudge and looks great all day. Beautiful black colour

This is one of the very few non waterproof mascaras that I can wear with my watery eyes (without it sliding all over my face). It has a natural bristled brush which I really do believe results in the most natural fluffy lashes. However this is quite a wet mascara and I really have to scrape quite a bit of product off the brush before going into apply or else my lashes result in a clumpy mess. I’ve used a couple tubes of this and definitely love how it makes my lashes look with a bit of work- it just would be nice if it wasn’t quite so high maintenance to apply.

I have absolutely no love for this mascara. I had been waiting a long time to try this (i.e. get through the rest of my mascara stash first!) Sadly it has been a big disappointment. Firstly I do not like the hour glass shaped wand. I find I end up depositing mascara on my eyelids every time. This may be because I wear glasses and can't easily judge how close the brush is. This I can almost forgive, but the smudging I can not. It doesn't matter how carefully I apply this or how long I wait for it to dry, I always end up with some on my under eye area. I've never been one to suffer from panda eyes until I tried this. I doesn't do anything for my lashes either and leans towards 'spidery' so this has no redeeming features for me at all. Luckily I only have a mini of this that I got in a gift pack, so in the bin it goes. This is one I'm not even waiting for the 3 month expiry before I bin it!

It looks really good when first applied. Separated lashes, natural looking, and gives length and volume....BUT after a few hours it starts flaking off onto my cheeks and giving me panda looking eyes. I have also found the more i used it the clumpier the formula becomes straight out of the tube!

This is hands down my favorite mascara in the world. It is the blackest mascara ever. If you want them blacker than black, this is the one for you. I love the packaging. It’s a pink tube with a great wand for volumizing and lengthening. I love mascara that gives dramatic length and volume. This is the best one I have found so far. Never get any smudging or crumbling. It’s perfect.

I've always wanted to try Too Faced products even though they are shady as hell. I saw that the small BTS mascara was only $18 so I decided to try it out. I compare everything to my drugstore Wet n Wild Lash Renegade so when I tried out the high end mascara... let's just say I wasn't having it. I put it on my lashes and although I thought it was okay at first I later changed my mind.

I wore it to work where I sweat a lot since I'm around ovens and I'm running around for 9 hours. My lashes were noticeably shorter and flaky by the end of my shift. I thought about getting the waterproof version but I don't like waterproof mascara. I don't think it wouldve made a difference in the end. I haven't bothered to take it off at night so when I woke up this morning to black dots/mascara flakes all over my face, in all the places except for where it should have been, I was a tad shocked that it had shifted that much during the day and while I was asleep.

It's so messy when applying too. It went all over my eyelid and I had to remove it with a Q tip. I actually really like the wand but the formula is so off, they need to make a different formula. For the price they could do so much better.

While I love this mascara it does not live up to the hype.

I brought the small bottle to trial it and while I definitely love what it does it is rather flakey once dried and I always end up with flakes under my eyes and looking like my bottom lashes have disappeared within a couple of hours.

I have heard the waterproof version is better for not flaking but haven’t been game enough to try after this one.

I still do use this mascara most days as I love how it makes my top lashes look but I will apply another mascara to my bottom lashes.
