On first impressions this 400ml bottle looks simple, plainly packaged, no fuss, the bottle itself is oval shaped, so it won't take up too much real estate in the shower caddy. The lid has a tab on it, which I love, as it is not a struggle to open this with wet hands (more manufactures should take note on the lid design). I expected this to have a sweet smell, according to the bottle it is fragrance free, there is a slight chemical smell, but it isn't off-putting. I don't have cotton pads so I improvised, putting this on a folded face cloth, then using gently to remove my makeup, it felt quite nourishing on my skin, and even though you don't have to rinse this off, I did. My skin instantly felt smoother and clean, the test was when I looked in the mirror, no panda eyes from mascara and eyeliner, I was quite impressed! The need for me to moisturise immediately after cleansing was not there, I truly felt that all of my makeup was removed and my skin cared for. I can fully recommend this if you have combo skin, as my dry skin wasn't irritated and my T zone was left de-slicked, so its a big tick from me!

Tips: Use a face cloth if you don't have cotton pads, works just as well
I was really stoked to get to review this product as I have dry skin and also am an avid micellar user. I wasn't really digging my current micellar but I'm not one to waste so I was pushing through with it.
This is very different to the other brands I've used. Firstly it has a milky consistency, similar to a milky cleanser. If you like the "nothing" finish a usual micellar leaves you might not like this, but for someone with dry skin, I really like the residue it leaves, it's very subtle and just feels like an extra hydration layer left on your skin. It's effective at removing all eye makeup with just a cotton pad and just leaves skin feeling fresh for when you don't have time for a full cleanse.
The price and size of the bottle makes it a very affordable option, I'll definitely look towards repurchasing this product.
Tips: You don't really need to do anything special with this product, using it with a cotton pad is enough.
First thoughts - great sized bottle and bound to last for ages. Quite runny so first couple of times I used it, it went everywhere. Makes removing make up easy especially when times is limited. Removed mascara well but I did feel like I needed to wash my face afterwards as my skin felt like it had a residue on it and felt sticky.
Tips: I felt my skin needed to be rinsed after using Micellar so I did and my skin felt better after that
I was impressed with the size of the bottle which amounts to great value for money! When I used the Micellar water I noticed it was thicker than regular Micellar water and didn't soak into the cotton wool pad. When I wiped it over my face it felt nice and didn't drag my skin. I have been using some heavy foundation and although this removed some, it didn't remove all of it. I used my regular toner afterwards and I noticed a lot of foundation hadn't been removed. The scent was pleasant and after use my skin felt soft and hydrated. I use it in the morning and it leaves my skin feeling lovely. I have had no irritations from using this and it has left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth.
Tips: If you want to remove heavier makeup, use a cloth or flannel before using this water.
I liked this product as It left my face feeling clean and fresh without any stinging or tightness like some other removers or cleansers do. The consistency is quite runny so probably used more than I usually would or more than what I need. My face felt super clean and soft after using. The one thing I didn't like is the smell. Because of the smell I probably wont buy it again, but I would recommend to others. Smell is a personal preference.
Tips: As its runny pour some on a face cloth or similar.
The packaging is very plain. It doesn’t come in a fancy box or have any added plastic like many products have. I’m happy with that and the plastic container can be recycled.
This cleanser is designed to be used with a cotton pad and says you don’t need to rinse. I used this product as directed, but after cleansing I really still felt that I wanted to rinse my face. It certainly seems to remove all my make up which is great, but my face felt a bit sticky after the cleansing process. I really didn’t want to add my night moisturiser over this until I’d rinsed my face.
On the plus side if you happen to be travelling, it would be easy to just use a cotton pad to cleanse you’re face. I’m not too keen on using the cleanser as directed, simply because it would mean using two cotton pads per day, for cleansing morning and night. As we are all becoming more aware of how much waste we produce, I don’t feel it’s very environmentally friendly to be throwing two cotton pads away per day. For me that means, 14 cotton pads per week going to landfill. If you would normally use a cleanser and a make up remover, then it’s a great idea, as you can just use this one product now.
It certainly made my skin feel clean, without drying it out.
I would use this cleanser again, but for me personally I would cleanse and then rinse off, without throwing extra cotton pads into the rubbish. I would use a cotton pad to remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
This was a gorgeous milky micellar cleanser which was felt so good on my parched skin. I didn't find any sticky residue after. Because I wear some pretty heavy coverage foundation, I need to double cleanse everyday i.e. I follow up with a secondary (usually foam) cleanser. While I would say that this didn't remove all my makeup to my liking, this would be perfect who doesn't use a lot of heavy makeup/foundation. This was also pretty good on lip and eye makeup, you just have to make sure you soak your cotton pad thoroughly before wiping.
Overall this is a very handy product that I'd recommend to all my dry-skinned friends out there who use tinted moisturiser/BB creams and want something gentle but effective to remove it.
Tips: I would soak my cotton pads with the product and just lay it over my face for a few minutes. This was really calming, like putting on a sheet mask!
I was excited to try the new Cleansing Milky water Micellar from Garnier. Unfortunately I really don't like it for several reasons, which will become clear. The bottle shows a milky liquid, but when you try and tip it out, it is very thick and viscous, in fact it doesn't even soak into a cotton pad, it just sits on the top of the pad and you have to quickly get it to your face without it dribbling off. It also seems to soak into your skin and although it does remove the makeup it also leaves a slightly sticky residue, which feels a bit unpleasant. The worst aspect of it, dare I say it, that without being crass , it does remind me of some sort of bodily fluids and I just can't get past this to use it regularly on my face .As soon as I used it , I read some other reviews, I noticed a couple of other people had thought the same about it. It may sound silly but I can't get past the way it looks and that together with it soaking into the skin and having to rinse it off, I really didn't like this product .
I've tried lots of micellar waters so was thrilled to get an opportunity to review this one.
The packaging is really pretty, clear bottle with pink lid that is easy to open. The liquid has a milky appearance.
I used one makeup remover pad and tipped the product onto it. It took several goes to get enough product onto the pad for a start, but the smell was very light and the texture almost like a gel.
I wiped one side of my face, but found I had to apply more product to the pad to finish my face. This was the main minus of the product, mainly due to it being slightly thicker than the clear micellar waters. However, it still removed my mineral powder makeup well.
I would definitely use this again but probably as a backup to a lighter micellar water.
Pros: No smell, nice texture, removes light makeup well, skin is left soft and hydrated.
Cons: is quite thick and requires more liberal use of the product.
Very generous 400ml size bottle with flip top for easy use (i would worry about the lid lifting if thrown in my gym bag). As a full time working mother of 3 teenagers, i have to have a quick and easy regime at the end of the day to remove my make up.. I love the 'lazy girl method' of removing my make up in front of the telly or in bed by using the versatility of micellar water and make up wipes. As we head into the cooler seasons with the frequent use of heatpumps my skin can become more sensitive with itchiness and dryness prevalent. I found the soothing cooling milky texture of the micellar milky cleanser felt lovely - a little bit went a long and did do a good job of removing my make up. I did feel I had to repeat the process using about 3 cotton pads and I did feel that I wanted to 'rinse off ' afterwards due to the milky texture feeling similar to a cleansing lotion. I found this product was more suitable for use on a Sunday light makeup for quick and easy removal as I found I needed too much product for a weekday full make up. I did find the taste left on my lips a little offensive as the micellar I use presently is tasteless and doesn't sting around my eyes at all. A great addition to the range of fabulous Garnier micellar waters.
Tips: You really don't need to use much as a little bit goes a long way - it just doesn't soak into the cotton squares as fully as water does.
