Carmex Lip Balm

I've been using Carmex after a stranger in the supermarket recommended I try it, and I am so grateful she did! It's the longest lasting balm I've used and it got me through winter without the dry or wind-burnt lips like I usually have. However, after using it for a few months, I've found it doesn't moisturise my lips as well as my usual Blistex balm, so I now use this as more of a repair balm than an everyday one. The tingly sensation after applying is quite odd and took me a little getting used to, and I'm not a massive fan of the scent/taste, but the texture is great and it works really quickly- my lips were noticeably less chapped within a few hours after I first applied it. I have it in the stick format which makes it super easy to carry around and use. It won't be for everyone, but I would definitely recommend you give it a go!

I use this if ive got sunburnt lips and it workes wonders! i love how it feels so tingly and cooling! just what you want when you have sunburnt lips :)

I apply this every night before I go to bed and I always wake up with soft luscious lips! When you first apply there is a slight tingle and it does have a strong menthol smell/taste to it but I like that. When I say it tingles it never stings and I have very sensitive skin. It has repaired my lips from almost every situation including sun and wind burn. In terms of consistency and durability it's a thin clear consistency but it last a long time when I wake up its still on my lips.

I love this lip balm, it keeps my lips moisturised and because of the menthol in it, it feels cooling and tingly. I know some people hate that feeling, but I love it, it makes me feel really fresh, especially in the winter, when the cold air makes the feeling even more cooling. I like this for daytime use, but if I use it overnight, I wake up in the morning with a weird residue on my lips. This happens with most lip products though, so it must just be me.

I always have a tub of Calmex in my bag, It moisturizes and soothes my lips. My lips stay moisturized for hours without having to constantly apply the lip balm, the flavored ones smell amazing as well.

This product is amazing. It is my go-to favourite lip balm. It tingles and makes your lips feel cold when you first apply it - this really shows that it's working. For only $5 you must buy this product!

I was sent this in one of my Sample Bar packs and had heard some good things about it. I tried it and love it!! I work in a factory environment and it really helps my lips from drying out and it stays on your lips for quite a while without having to re-apply. It tingles when you first put it on then goes away but I guess that means its doing its thing.

I love this product because my lips and very sensitive. I get coldsores a lot and when I get the first tingly feeling of one coming on I reach for my carmex always!! This stuff is seriously magic and has saved me from so many 'possible' coldsores. It has a nice tingly feeling which makes me think it's doing it's job. I would buy a tub of this stuff if I could. Just so good!!

Everybody who has tried Carmex's original flavoured lip balm (or any in their range, for that matter) can tell you that feeling that it gives you on your lips is immensely satisfying. I love it so much that I sometimes put it on my lips even though my lips may not be needing of it. When you apply it on your lips and leave it for a few seconds, you will notice that it starts to feel fizzy/minty and cold on your lips. Feels really good! Apart from the feeling, Carmex moisturizes very well. The product comes in a small tube which you can screw open the lid, push out the product and take it with your finger (or just rub the tube on your lips if that takes your fancy) and lather it all over them lips!

It is quite inexpensive ($4-$6 from Asos.com - watch out for the frequent sales!) and has the most delicious, sweet scent! Definitely a repurchasing item for me. A classic.

This lip balm is extremely moisturizing but the con is: your lips are thirsty for more! Though I wouldn't say that my lips dehydrated extremely fast after the product was fast, it just felt like it was dry even though it wasn't. This obviously drew me to get the lip balm out again and apply it on my lips - which my lips thanked and drank!

I liked the convenient packaging. Was easy to apply. Good for your lips if you don't mind the cooling effect.
