This lip balm is okay, kinda just felt greasy and slippery and I found myself reapplying more often than I wanted to be. Also if I put it on overnight I found my lips were terribly dry and flaking by the morning. Is an okay basic lip balm but for me personally it just didn’t do enough.

Carmex Lip Balm
Carmex lip balm contains a unique blend of ingredients, including natural moisturisers such as cocoa butter and lanolin. These and other emollients give you healthy-looking lips by moistening and preventing dryness and chapping associated with the effects of the environment.
Carmex helps to soothe, moisturise and relieve dry, chapped lips caused by the elements. Apply Carmex liberally and evenly as often as necessary throughout the day.
Carmex contains camphor and menthol. These ingredients give Carmex a cooling effect and soothe rough, chapped lips caused by environmental factors – encouraging a healthy appearance that feels as good as it looks.
Available in a jar, tube or stick.

Tips: Proceed with caution! And only use if your lips are already in great condition as it may dry out already compromised lips :)
Everyone seems to love carmex lip balms, unfortunately I just couldn't get used to the tingly feeling these menthol based lip balms give to the lips. I find it does this even more so than blistex which I also don't love but it does lessen after a little while. Also found it a little sticky. Will not repurchase. For those of you that love that tingling though, you would probably love these.
The lip balm wasn't the worst but it was sticky and didn't do well left in the heat - even if I just left it on the table in direct sunlight. It would often slightly sting my lips and was so greasy. I wouldn't buy this again over my Nivea lip balms.
I wasn't really prepared for the tingling when I put this on since every other lip balm I've tried has never done anything like that. I personally don't really like it for that reason. When I put on a lip balm I'm trying to moisturise my lips not burn them
This is probably one of least favourite lip balms. Personally, I find it makes my lips almost too glossy and plumped up and I already have very full lips so just end up looking a bit silly. It has a horrible smell - I can literally smell it a mile off. Personally I prefer balms with a bit more of a subtle smell.. And it is just sooo sticky. However, when I do manage to leave it on long enough, it does really moisturise dry, sore, cracked lips so in that sense, it's a good product. Oh, and the sensation I also find really burn-y. It's a very strong tingle; way more so than the blistex balms which have a subtle tingle for a few minutes. This one just keeps tingling! Sorry - not a very nice review, but got to have a range of opinions right? And this product is just not for me!
I wanted to love this lip balm but its really not for me. As soon as I put this on my lips they were extremely tingly, in an uncomfortable way. Not sure if this lip balm is supposed to have this effect or not? Glad this is a freebie, will pass this onto my partner who hopefully will like it.
I got this free from the website and am going to give it an honest review. I hated it! I put a little bit on my lips and they stung for ages, even got my eyes watering! Way too strong for me and not at all what I am looking for in a lip balm!
I had heard a lot about this product, but frankly I was disappointed by it. Menthol and Camphor are both known drying ingredients, which does the exact opposite of a lip balm. It seems like Carmex are trying to ensure a constant market for their product by drying out people's lips as they try to use it. I liked the balm's texture, and didn't mind the smell some people have described, but the inclusion of menthol has totally ruined it.
Awful. This was just like blistex (same thing, different name? ) which I reacted to. It stung and burnt my lips, and it didn't moisturise them at all. I also really dislike products which contain lanolin as it's extremely comedogenic due to it being such a rich lipid. Lanolin is derived from sheep's wool, and as a general rule for skin care, I recommend avoiding any lipids derived from animals or minerals. These kinds of oils aren't readily absorbed by your skin, so they just sit on the surface, not hydrating your skin, and block the pores. These sort of products are what give you blackheads around your lips.
Tips: Always read labels when purchasing. I got this as a freebie, but if I had known I'd not have bothered. If your lips are dry, get something that can actually hydrate.
I picked up a tube of this lip balm from my local pharmacy. I like to use balms during summer . My lips feel drier in this season .
Packaging comes in a bright yellow tube . Has the carmex labelling down the side . Consistency reminds me of a balm not solid . Seems to be soft like paste . Like vaseline. This scent is hard for me to describe similar to blistex .
I like how this protects my lips from the sun . My lips feel hydrated . I like to keep this in my hand bag to keep me going throughout the day . I can see myself buying this again.
