Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion

I accidentally bought this instead of the Cetaphil cleanser. I was lured in by the mini samples GWP that were hanging around its neck!! The packaging is almost identical to the cleanser so I grabbed it thinking that's what it was. I got the 500 ml bottle with the pump. I thought, oh well, it will do me as a back up moisturiser/body lotion. Which is what Ive used it for and it has done a perfectly adequate job.

It is a basic no-frills moisturiser, with no nasty perfumes or colours to irritate sensitive skin. Just a plain, white lotion with a medium consistency. I used it a couple of times on my face but I preferred it as a body lotion. It did take a little while to fully absorb on my legs. It also makes a nice light weight hand cream. It hasn't irritated my eczema prone skin at all. The pump means that it is easy to dispense and apply. You wouldn't need a whole pump if using it as a facial moisturiser.

For an accidental buy, this worked out quite well and I've managed to get through the whole bottle. I probably won't buy this again, just because I have other moisturisers that I prefer and I like scented body lotions. If you like using this as a facial moisturiser then it is an absolute bargain as it would last ages.

Have just started using this and suprisingly really love it. It's so well absorbed, and despite being a lotion, hydrates the skin so well and keeps it hydrated throughout the day. Excellent price so great value. Fragrance free. It spreads and absorbs so well, a little goes a long way. I've really enjoyed using it after shaving as that is when my legs are most likely to be irritated.

It is amazing how this moisturiser works with different skin types/ concerns. Unlike any other brands that caters to a specific skin type, this works amazingly for everybody! From a baby, to toddlers, teenagers, adult with every skin concerns. I have oily/acne-prone skin and have tried different moisturisers to combat acne, different treatments, but it only irritated my skin. I first tried using Cetaphil when I was 15 and since then, I keep coming back. It works great with my acne prone skin, it does not have nasty smell, and performs great in terms of moisturising my face and body! It also feels lightweight to a point where it gets absorbed quickly. It also works great with other facial treatments as it does not interfere or overpower the treatments that would result to irritation and rash.

Light lotion, great as a body lotion with barely any scent. Moisturising, non-greasy and easily absorbed. This is probably the lightest lotion in the Cetaphil range and great during summer.

Good for sensitive and dry skin. Also good for skin conditions like eczema. Very moisturizing and doesn't smell bad

A basic lightweight lotion suited to most skin types including dry and sensitive skin. This provides good hydration without feeling heavy or greasy.

I have naturally sensitive skin so I always have to look out for products that won't irritate my face in any way. I tried this product through a family member and I absolutely loved how much it hydrated my face! It also didn't cause any unwanted reactions and it lasts for a very, VERY long time!

My mum recommended using this for my very dry/sensitive eczema prone skin. I find it great, i also use it as an all over body lotion as well. I also use this with the cleanser. Its great for the price and has no harsh chemicals etc.

I have actually never heard of this moisturiser before so I was definitely interested in trying something new to see how it works and how it would compare to other moisturisers that I have used. Since iv been pregnant iv had really dry skin and from the first application of using this I would highly recommend it. Cetaphil leaves my skin hydrated until I have a shower and I don't have to reapply it throughout the day like I would have to with some other moisturisers. I love that it lasts for quite a long time also that it doesn't have a scent. Being a mum to be I would definitely try this on my baby's skin since it has done so much good for my skin. I also like that you don't have to use too much just to get the full effect of what it does. Definitely a good product for sensitive and dry skin.
