This is the best product I have every come across, I am so glad that my sister mentioned it to me and that I was able to put money aside to get it, being a student and all! The other day my sister actually asked if I was wearing any makeup but I wasn't it was all just because of the rosehip oil I had been applying constantly!
With this oil, I apply it about twice a day. If I intend to go out during the day I will only apply it at night otherwise my face would look like an oily mess. I apply about 3-4 drops into my hand and then spread it evenly over my face and rub it in. I will then let it soak into my skin. The smell was interesting at first, very natural haha but I have gotten used to it now and I don't mind it as much. I would definitely recommend this rosehip oil to people with lots of acne scarring because it has been doing a really good job at minimising it and it has also been keeping away acne which is very surprising! I love this product and I also love that it is not too expensive and a little goes a very long way.
Tips: Apply twice a day for fast results, and remember a little goes a long way.
I have this oil in a 3ml sample size from when I purchased their trial kit which comes with some minis of their other products also. I have been using oil on my face for the last 18 months and have noticed such an improvement on my dry skin.
The bottle of this is a pretty typical rosehip oil vessel. It is a dark glass and it has a dropper cap. I think the labeling of this brand looks nice and effective and of course the pink colourings draws me in. Another great thing is that this is sold at the supermarket. I find it very easy to justify beauty purchases if I can just buy them with my food products!
I like to use 6 drops of oil for my face and neck. I apply once a day in the mornings after my toner. I always start with my cheeks and nose and then smooth it over my face. This does have a strong smell that is not the nicest but it's not gross either. I don't notice the scent once applied. Within 10 minutes of applying, it has absorbed into my skin and my skin feels soft and ready for lotion without feeling greasy at all.
I can't comment on any claims this oil makes as I haven't been using it long enough. I did find when I started to use oils, that it took a few months before I really noticed any difference in my skin. So keep that in mind if you're only after a quick fix.
3mls doesn't seem like much at all but I've been using this for a couple of weeks and I still have just under half left. I can definitely see myself buying the full size of this at some stage. I'm still trying out other oils to see what works best but this doesn't break me to and it helps my dry skin feel not so dry so it's winning There! I'd definitely recommend to others to give it a go, the trial pack is around $20 and had 5 products I think in it, so it's a great way to see if you like them without investing a huge amount into it.
I use this product every night after cleansing and love it! It's affordable but a quality product. My skin is softer, less dry patches and doesn't make my T Zone too oily or congested as it is prone to do. I tried a lesser priced oil recently and it wasn't until I bought the Essano again that I really noticed the difference.
Tips: I sometimes apply a little more on my cheeks after an hour or so if they are going through an extra dry patch before going to sleep, it helps keep my cheeks supple.
As someone who suffers from uneven skin tone I was so excited to try this. I saw progress with my redness in the first few days of using it. My skin tone evened out a lot, my skin felt super soft and my pores were less noticeable. Even with oily skin I feel this product could work as it would help to reduce the amount of oil your skin produces, however I would recommend using it carefully if you are worried about putting oil on your face. As I have combination skin I feel this has worked amazingly!! Although it hasn't completely made my skin perfect it has improved about 85% and I've only been using it for a month so I'm super happy with the product and now feel comfortable wearing no or little makeup in public. I use it at night and occasionally in the morning if I'm not going anywhere during the day.
I use this brand alot, and tend to follow their recommended night and day plans, I use this ever day and it gives my face a boost in the morning. Smoothes my skin and so far after a few months has given it a bit of a lift around my eyes (YAY)
Tips: Don't use before bed, it takes a while to fully soak in.
So I had quite a serious car accident last year and broke my pelvis - While I was in hospital I was sent all these get well gift packs as such, yano as you do. Anyways so the place where I was working sent me a bunch of things and I got an Essano Rosehip Oil Gift Pack which included I think the Oil, Moisturiser, Lotion and Eye Cream. Since I had never tried it before I was intrigued, and also hearing a few things from people I was eager to try it. The oil is really good, you only need a few drops for an area and it feels good (smells abit like tree branches though but thats nothing really). I also noticed after a week and a half, my scars from the accident started to fade away slightly and my stretchmarks weren't so red anymore. I would have definitely carried on if I hadn't run out but thinking about it now, I am going to buy another bottle the next chance I get :) its good stuff!!
I love this oil. I was initially scared to try an oil on my skin, because my skin can be a little oily. I applied a few drops of this and it made my skin feel amazing. Nice and smooth and hydrated, but not sticky or tacky feeling. My foundation applied really nicely and smoothly after too. It sunk into my skin and didn't make my face look shiny/oily later on in the day.
Tips: I also use a few drops on other dry patches on my body, knees, elbows etc.
i love this rose hip oil and i use it for so many purposes. add a few drops to matte foundation to make it look more Dewey, wipe a small amount to my eyebrows to nourish them and a few others
I decided to buy a Essano Rosehip Oil face care pack as I had brought their face wash while waiting for my usual to be delivered when I had run out. I didn't like the smell of the oil, but it didn't like my skin even more! Felt like it was burning, and normally my skin is incredibly tolerant. And despite only using a little I felt and looked like I had dipped my face in a bucket of oil
Tips: Maybe test a little on the inside of your elbow or somewhere discreet if your skin is sensitive before putting it on your face.
