GHD Eclipse Review

this is an amazing top of the line hair straightener! its really worth the price.

ive been using straighteners for YEARS and got so sick of it taking forever ( i have very long hair). i also hated my hair going static-y ( sorry i know thats not a real word lol) and frizzy. this straightener is not like that at all. now it only takes about 15 mins to straighten all of my hair compared to 30! it makes my hair so silky and smooth. it gives it the most beautiful shine also.

i feel that it is less damaging than cheaper straighteners. ive found i have less split ends now :)

i really love the silicone protective sleeve that it comes with. its so convenient. you just slip it on and you dont have to worry about burning your counter top. i love that the cord is long and has the swivel at the end.

if you straighten your hair often its definitely worth the price!

No hair straightener comes close to a GHD just works wonders on my frizzy curly hair.. Such a great product

I know this review isnt for this model but i cant find my one on here! This GHD is amazing! I love it!! and its PINK! It's so beautiful and doesn't destroy my hair (at least it doesn't feel as though it does!) I can wake up in the morning and my hair will be crazy and this beautiful invention here fixes that super quickly! Another plus is that it heats up in the matter of seconds and if it hasn't been used in a while it beeps at you! This is my first GHD and I'm never going back to any but GHD!

I got one for my birthday last year from my man and honestly I love this!

I use my straightener regularly and it works amazing leaving my thick, corse, dry hair straight and smooth after every use!

It also does amazing curls and I usually will roll them up and chuck a bobby pin in them hair spray and leave in for a few minutes. Better than a curling iron!

So quick and easy a one stop shop for straight and curly hair!

I have very thick curly and frizzy here and the eclipse exceeded my expectations. It makes its silky and shiny and easier to straighten to the extent that I dont mind straightening my hair now. I love my ghds all over again like it was the first time.

I have a straight hair but I like to use it to style and curl my hair :) I love they way it requires little effort and time to style my hair. It only takes 5 mins in the morning on workdays to straighten sleepy hair. Easy to carry when travelling as well.

I love this GHD. It makes your hair super straight and lasts all day as long as you use it properly (iron through hair slowly)

This straightner honestly is incredible! love how easily it straightens my hair (naturally wavy) it heaps up in under 30 seconds which i love! stays straight the whole day and makes hair shinier too. has perfect temperature and only takes one or two strokes to get hair looking good. love it!

I have had to completely change this review after all the problems I have had with this product!

I got the GHD Eclipse as a present for Christmas 2013, and when I got it, I was like, wow, this is so awesome as it did a great job. About 5 months later is when I start having the problems.

I turned it on one day and it went into Shiver mode (this is when the product turns itself off due to the GHD being in the wrong temperature environment). I was pretty guttered when this happened, especially since my styler was always kept in a warm room, but wasn't too worried as I knew it was under warranty and I could get it replaced - which I did. About 3 months later the same thing happened again and once again I got it replaced.

Wouldn't you know it. About 2 weeks ago, it did the same thing.

It is still under warranty, so rather than getting another one for it do to the exact same thing, I have opted for a refund.

I am now going to buy the Cloud9 styler.

In general I would say GHD's are good, but with this one, I would not recommend it, mainly for the problems I have had with it!

I bought it the first day it became available because i couldnt wait! the good thing about the eclipse is that the new design is made to reduce in heat so it doesnt do as much heat damage to your hair but still straighten your hair perfectly. I was really interested in this because i hate damaging my hair as it grows so slow and i wanted to reduce the damage since i straighten my hair nearly everyday. This definatly does the job and im inlove with it.. and it heats up in 10 seconds. I also love the style and how it lights up and looks like a star its so pretty i love classic black!

The only problem that i have with this is it slightly moves side to side when it should only go up or down. I dont know if thats what they all do or if mines broken but its happened since ive had it and it feels like when it moves im breaking it more.
