I recently used one of these at a friends house and I definitely prefer the GHDIV or gold edition! These ones just felt really cheap, as if they were just a really average brand made out of bad materials and light plastic. Yes the effect of these is good but the quality is not! when using it I found that where the hinge was, the plates moved from side to side, even though they are only supposed to go up and down as you open and close the straighteners.

Super cute.
I borrowed my friends the other day before going out and I love it, I wanted to take it on home with me. It looks super rad and I really like the blue coloring ! Also the sound it makes is so cute ! It made my hair feel shiny and it curls just as well as it straightens ! It's an all round must have if you want to avoid bad hair days.
Tips: Heat protectant !

All GHD stylers
Great for smooth straight result. Quick and you can create curls. Good for normal or greasy hair especially if not coloured or bleached. Only disadvantage is there is only one heat setting. If your hair is dry or bleached you would be better off with a straightener that has a temperature control as you only need 180 degrees if your hair is dry.
Tips: Always use a heat protecting product prior to using.

Spaceage styling!
Very cool little styler, I say space age because on the blue light and the little tune it plays when you switch it off and on, does what a ghd should. I'm just not convinced on the shape of them they seem a little bit chunky to me? Being a hairdresser have used all the ghd stylers and just a little fussy with how it feels in your hand,
Tips: Sectioning clips are your best friend start from the bottom and work your way up get a smoother and longer lasting hair do.

Amazing
This is the 3rd GHD that I have owned, and they have really nailed it on the head with the Eclipse. I wouldn't go back to using a standard GHD. It's really easy to use and takes little time. Leaves hair feeling shiny and healthy and stays straight for ages.

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT
I love this styler, for curling and straightening.I always get compliments when i curl my long hair.I have naturally curly hair that is hard to style.Its a good investment.

Great for morning rushes
I bought one of these a few months ago and it has worked so much faster than my old one, but I do feel they are very expensive so I would only recommend it to someone who would be constantly styling their hair

Always get results
Love my ghd styler, great for creating curls and not damaging hair in fact hair looks softer. High recommend.
Tips: Use a good heat protecter on hair first.

Hubby surprised me with the Eclipse for Christmas and I love it! It straightens's my hair quickly and easily. It's now something I can do so as I'm running out the door if need be. It heats up very quickly and doesn't damage my hair, intact it looks healthier after I've used it!
