I don't use a lot of hair dye, but this one is nice for people who want to just refresh their colour.
My most recent colour was quite dark (I like going darker) and even after 2 weeks is fading very slowly so I wont need to re-do my colour for another month and a half. Smells amazing when using and is also very easy to use (this is the second time I've done it myself). Love, love, love!
Tips: Use a thick moisturizer around your hairline to make it easy to wipe away marks
I've been using this product for about 8 years now and it's still my favourite. I'm the kind of person who is forever changing their hair colour so this product is perfect. Not only do they have a gorgeous array of colours (definitely more for brunette and darker shades) but because they fade (semi-permanent) out I find I don't get harsh regrowth lines so don't have to dye my hair as much. Your hair smells nice afterwards and my hair is always left beautifully soft and shiny.
It is a bit more on the pricey side but they've dropped their price now so they're more affordable.
Tips: To prolong the colour definitely used shampoos and codnitioners designed for coloured hair.
Have been using this since forever and i love it! the colour is always amazing and my hair looks so healthy after colouring plus it smells good! Colour last is average but that could have something to do with my aftercare techniques which are pretty nil :-) anyways would definitely recommend this product!
Tips: Use a damp flannel with a bit of bar soap on it to remove any unwanted residue marks around your face :-)
I prefer using semi-permanent as I dye my hair regularly so I feel it does less damage. This is easy to use, the colours are superb and it doesn't fade too quickly. It's not a bad price, and it's a great product. I'd definitely recommend it!
Tips: You can often get it on sale for about $16 so hold out if you can!
I find it difficult to find semi-permanent hair dyes, and this one works really well, I don't like the idea of regrowth and can't afford to upkeep permanent dyes so this works well for me to put a darker wash though my hair. Love it!
At first I was a little put off by the price, I normally dye my hair quite dark to black and because you can't really go wrong with a dark colour I am normally happier spending closer to $12-$15. It was a darker brown shade that I used and I didn't really realise the benefits until a few washes later. There was definitely less fade in comparison with cheaper brands that I've tried, and a smoother and silkier appearance overall that actually lasted the distance. Price well worth it.
Tips: For hair dye in general I wouldn't do an at home job if I had lighter hair, so I'd do a bit of research before trying a lighter shade.
The smell of the product is really nice. It's not a fake perfume sort of smell and not a chemical kind of smell too. I've used several different colours in this range and found them to be pretty true to the packet.
Tips: I started pretty much butchering my hair with bleach and lots of swimming, so things like dark browns and blacks faded very quickly no matter what brand I used. I took a risk that paid off, I bought a dark brown and let it process for twice the recommended time (ALWAYS ON A TEST STRAND FIRST) which came out almost black (like I wanted) this way it came out the colour I wanted and more pigment had been deposited so faded to chocolate brown a lot slower.
I use this product through out the year - as long as you do as instructed - roots then last 5 on rest your hair will always look great - I go for the brown tones
Tips: Do as instructed - dont put browns through all your hair when renewing or your tips will go darker
I've used this product several times to cover greys and it works great. However I do tend to leave it on way longer than suggested...mainly because I get side tracked. I use the darker colours and I love the soft feeling my hair has after using.
Tips: I put Vaseline or fatty cream around my hairline to avoid staining
