Lady Jayne Flexi-Glide Brush Large

I am literally obsessed with this brush. The last brush I had by Lady Jayne was so good too but this one has literally whacked that one out the garden lol.

It is so easy to use and gets every knot out my hair without effort. Works perfectly on my daughters hair too. There are now fights over it ha ha ha.

It is super comfortable to hold too.

Highly recommend and on the hunt for a second one so my daughter stops stealing this one.

This is a large, rectangular, paddle-style hairbrush. The base isn't totally solid, but it has these sort of vents/gaps in it. The bristles are plastic with those little bobbly bits on the ends (my descriptions are poetry, I know!). It's a nice, bright purple.

I have long, almost waist-length hair that is thick and wavy. My hair tangles easily. I remember my mum carefully removing knots from my hair when I was a young child. I always tie up my hair at night, otherwise it's a bird's nest in the morning!

I have found this brush fantastic! It glides through my hair easily (the name is accurate) without any uncomfortable tugging, and easily removes tangles. It works well on wet hair as well as dry.

It's great for easily creating a nice, smooth ponytail or bun as well. It's my new favourite hairbrush!

I love this brush. It actually does exactly as advertised. Goes through and detangles my thick and knotty hair. It also feels amazing on my scalp, I just keep brushing as it’s like a head massage.

I've tried a fair few detanglers, and this one looks very unique and intriguing. At a glance the Lady Jayne flexi glide brush looks like a maze with no escape. It feels flexible but retains its shape as you brush your hair. Other detanglers separate like fingers, and this isn't one of those, I quite prefer this. Flexi but not too flexi. It doesn't pull or snag my hair at all - I wish I had this brush in those early postpartum months! I love the curved shape of the brush and feels very ergonomic and hugs the shape of head as I brush. Super lightweight but not flimsy. I have very thick wavy hair and in four strokes my hair is fully brushed without disrupting my natural wave pattern or separating my hair into a frizzy mess. The bristles are also long enough that it can brush my thick hair right through to my scalp, I found that some detanglers have short bristles that just can't get through my voluminous hair. This brush looks like it's very easy to clean and won't get waterlogged, and hairbrushes apparently need to be cleaned every fortnight, especially if you use hair product.

It's great to be part of the review team for this, and I highly recommend this brush, especially if you have thick hair. The large size is perfect, and I am also looking to buy a couple of the smaller ones to keep in the car, my bag and also for my daughter. The price is very affordable, so why not!

I’ll start out by saying looks can be deceiving- when I got this package and opened it I thought it was just another hairbrush but seemed a little flimsy

Upon closer inspection I realised that the centre parts are not fully attached and this was a whole new experience for me, all I’m going to say is it make such a huge difference to how comfortable brushing your hair is. This brush is a game changer for someone with a sensitive scalp!

I tried this on both wet and dry hair and it made brushing so easy with no pulls at all. I even tried it on my cavaliers ears and she had no complaints she’s a tough critic as well!

The bristles are longer then a standard brush so your not just touching the surface of your hair like so many other “wet” tangle brushes on the market.

My only criticism is that it’s a sizeable paddle brush so would be hard to travel with, would love to see them come out with a smaller size and I would definitely buy it

I am a long time user of detangling brushes for my fine, easily knotted hair. So I was super excited to give this one from Lady Jayne a go (it's RRP is so much cheaper than a certain famous one!). The brush is a bit bigger which would work well for thicker hair types. I brush my hair after a shower and this had no problems smoothing out the knots. Would recommend, value for money.

Hand down best hair brush I have ever used! Wet or dry hair this will brush through any tangles without pulling out your hair or tugging at the scalp - magic!

The brush itself is large but lightweight in the hand and a smooth shiny plastic all over. The bristles are long and flexible but gentle - no sharp or scratchy pins like other brushes which rip and pull.

Absolutely love this Lady Jane brush and my daughter did too - not a single complaint when I ran it through her fine and knotty locks.

I will be highly recommending this brush and purchasing one for my daughter, such an amazing result and good quality product with such a low price point.

This brush feels like a head massage!!! (And that alone is worth 5 stars in my opinion)

The pros: light weight, didn’t break when using on my natural curly hair, works like a charm when my hair is straightened. Oh, and did I mention I feels like a head massage along your scalp - not harsh and scratchy but contours to your head softly.

The cons: didn’t deal with knots as well as my detangling brush does, a little large for my liking (not that that had any impact on it working well, just a personal preference).

Overall, I would definitely buy this again - wasn’t harsh on my scalp but contoured gently.

I was excited to receive the Lady Jayne Flexi-Glide Brush Large as I have two girls, one very sensitive to brushing her hair. Any brush that makes our morning routine happier is a win for us!

One of my girls (the more sensitive one) has long thick hair while my other daughter and myself have long fine hair. We found this brush great for both hair types.

My first impressions were that it wasn't like previous detangling brushes we have tried. It is very large and comfy to grip. The purple colour was a win with my girls and they liked the funky-looking design of the back plastic. The bristles were thicker than other detangling brushes and therefore a little harder on the scalp so I did wonder how the girls would find it but I think because of this it got through the tangles more effectively so less brushing time was needed.

The brush curves inwards so it feels like it covers a large area of your head at once. The girls loved this! I found it a little unusual as it feels quite different to standard brushes.

Overall this is a great brush. It does what it says it does, it really brushes hair with ease. I am not sure if I have noticed less hair breakage but that is a big plus if less breakage has been happening.

It has made our morning hair for school quicker with fewer complaints and it brushes through wet hair easily as well. We will continue to use this brush and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a large versatile brush.
