St. Tropez Double Velvet Mitt

Great mitt, even application, cute colour BUT when I asked my partner to do my back he struggled getting it onto his hand! I feel like this is an important element as most people fake tanning ask their partners to help rub in product on their backs. Otherwise, practical mitt that does the job it is meant to do !!

The St Tropez double velvet mitt is a striking light blue shade and really does feel plush to touch, it is visibly thicker and feels fluffier than any of my other mitts on comparison.

I feel the packaging does slightly detract from the luxe feel as you have to cut or rip it open to access the mitt - a reusable tab or drawstring would have a more aesthetic appeal and allow the package to be used to securely store the mitt.

When using to apply my tan the double velvet mitt seemed to absorb a substantial amount of product, and due to the thickness it did not bend and contour to my curves as easily other thinner mitts do although it was soft and comfortable on my hand. I did find product application slightly patchy around curves.

Unfortunately although the mitt does look and feel luxurious I prefer to apply my tan with a thin mitt for more precise coverage.

Love the texture and that it’s double sided - it makes getting an even tan fast and easy. Would definitely recommend.

Love how soft this is! But more importantly, it helps keep your application flawless. It has a water proof layer so you don't get tan where you don't want it. Love it.

I really liked the way this mitt fitted my hand. So easy to use. Super soft which allows for easy application and evenly spreading. Streak free results and makes your tan look flawless.

This is one of the softest mitts I’ve ever used! I have quite small hands and I was so happy this mitt for my hand perfectly and was so comfortable to use - other mitts I have are abit to big and are annoying to use but this is perfect. My tan went on so smooth and easy, this is my new favourite mitt

I've not been a self tan fan due to a streaky, orange mistake about a decade ago, however I was very excited to try the St Tropez gradual tanner in conjunction with this mitt, as I felt it would be pretty hard for me to end up looking like a certain ex-president. I was correct.

This mitt is super soft, a good size, not unwieldy to use, and helps spread the self tan on like a dream. The result was a streak-free golden tan. Perfection. I especially loved that it's easy to clean, and dries quickly, ready for the next application.

Hands down the best mitt iv used. I found it didnt absorb all the product like other brands i have used . Gave me a nice even application that was streak free

Thank you Beauty Review for this trial. I really appreciate it. I found this mitt to be soft and the inside was padded. It was super soft, it felt very luxurious. I felt it was useful to apply the spray tan and my hands didn't get stained. I was overall happy with the distribution however I did notice a few bits of fluff on my legs. I have used a mitt with a thumb, and that is the one that I prefer, but that is just my opinion. I am sure there are some people who prefer this one.

This mitt is the nicest tanning mitt I’ve ever used. It is so soft and fluffy, with smooth application and tan free hands! The physical size is a bit small so for those of us with bigger hands it does take some wiggling to get into but once it’s on you’re away. The mitt really helps with application and leaves a smooth streak free tan. The mitt doesn’t soak up the Product so you’re not wasting a heap on the mitt but it does allow you to get a nice even coat.
