I could feel and smell the vitamin c infused in this product so I know essano are using quality ingredients and that fabulous because they are affordable, I could understand the muddy colour and texture being off putting to some but I'm not too concerned with how a product looks and feels if it's doing the job. I don't think I would purchase ( I got this as a reward) as there isn't enough of it so it lasted about 10 days

Before using the essano vitamin c serum I was using the ordinary vitamin c suspension, which stung and kinda burned my skin.
Last year my Daughter gifted me the brightening vitamin c trial pack .
I wasn’t a fan of the face wash gel or scrub as they really dried out my face , even though I have oily skin.
But the vitamin c serum ! Oh my god magic! Smells amazing and I was really impressed the vitamin c comes in a more natural form .
I used the little sample of the vitamin c serum up really quick. It did not sting , no burning either . Twice a day but I always wear sunscreen. My skin looked good. Brighter to be exact.
So I committed to a full sized bottle. I am 40 years old and had noticed a sun spot on the left side of my face , it was dark but at least 3-4 shades darker than my fair skin. Well! It’s actually gone! I think it was around 3 weeks and it was totally gone.
I’m sold! Get it! It won’t dry out your skin at all
its no secret that i'm not a huge fan of essano, so when i got this in the christmas bbbe i was a bit... ehhhhhh... about it. however, i used it and man. im impressed.
the product comes out in a pipette and is thick and creamy. it applies like a dream, and makes my face feel lovely and soft every single time after use, even more so if i've used a scrub or facemask beforehand.
the smell is quite subtle, the last time i remember smelling it distinctly was probably the first week i used it, it was a mild vitamin c smell which, i guess is quite fitting.
i cant say i've noticed it brightening my skin but i have noticed it looking... fresher? but it is summer so perhaps all the time in the sun has also tanned my face, so i cant be too sure. but it's a lovely serum and i'd happily repurchase!
This product is great. It comes in the standard Essano pink packaging. inside the box is a small dropper bottle containing the product. The product is a thick white lotion with a creamy orange scent.
I have applying this at night and I love the look and feel of my skin - beyond what I would have expected. My skin does look healthier and is brighter as per the product claim. I'm surprised as I like Essano but not usually this much, with the exception of the wrinkle rescue. I like that this product doesn't smell of rosehip, the primary reason I'm not usually as keen on Essano products.
The only criticism I have is that the lotion is too thick for the dropper and I have to bang it against my hand to get the product to dislodge. But otherwise, it is a fabulous product and my skin is clearly benefitting from it.
Tips: Apply at nights to clean skin - lovely!
Got this in the BBBE Xmas box last year and have been using for atleast a month. Dropper type packaging, easy to get the right amount of product. Slight orange scent, its pleasant. Easily absorbed into my skin. I don't have any age spots but have noticed my skin looks lighter (in a good way) Works with my skincare regime.
I like this for a serum, not my absolute fav on the market but would consider repurchasing when this runs out.
This was fine for hydrating but I don't think it's potent enough to get the hailed vitamin c, brightening skin tone effects. For similar money I'd try the Tailor Skincare GoldDust which I had better results with.
Tried this twice as it's affordable at your local supermarket on sale compared to other serums on the market. Very moisturising and was really good to use over winter before you go to bed before a night cream. Don't think I can use this in summer though
I really like this, it leaves my skin feeling smooth, moisturized and refreshed. I like to apply this at night and don't feel the need to use a moisturizer as this works so well at doing that too. Which is great when you don't want much on your face. It comes in a bottle with a dropper and is a bit like milk with a citrus scent.
Tips: Apply before going to bed and you should wake with smooth soft skin.
I purchased a set of Essano concentrated serums which came in a very pretty pink box. And this was the very first of the serums i decided to try first. The serum itself was unique as it was white and thick. The colour kind of reminded me of the colour of the white glue we use to use in primary school.
Anyways the serum itself was not too bad... didn’t cause any breakouts nor irritation. In the morning when i woke up, my face seemed to look happy and healthy, and it didn’t feel dry either, which was good. I managed to finish the whole bottle but didn’t notice any significant changes to my freckles.
It’s nice how it comes in a small dropper bottle... then wouldn’t need to leave an opened product unfinished for too long. I might give it a go again.. and see whether it will help lighten my freckles in the long term.
I'd been wanting to try the essano Advanced Brightening Vitamin C Concentrated Serum for a while and grabbed it from the Rewards Vault. Like others I have mixed reviews of essano products - they're at a good price point and make some great promises in terms of being cruelty free, paraben free and in recyclable packaging, however some expected product benefits can be lacking.
essano's Advanced Brightening Vitamin C Concentrated Serum comes in a small glass bottle with a pipette. It's a creamy white colour and two drops effectively covers my face and neck before I use a moisturiser or night cream. It's a nice consistency which absorbs easily and is not sticky.
I was surprised to realise this product is only 5% Vitamin C and while my skin appears brighter I don't believe it's done anything for my skin pigmentation. I wouldn't repurchase.
Tips: I've used Vitamin C serums from Kiehls (10% Vitamin C) and Olay and while they're pricier they come in bigger bottles and seem more effective to me.
