essano Vitamin C Brightening Polishing Scrub Reviews

This scrub came in a pack with other Essano Vitamin C products and has the same cute pink packaging. It comes in a bottle with a screw top, which is an interesting choice for a scrub. I'd rather it came in a tube.

The product seems to be the exact same product as the cleansing gel but with something similar to the texture of refined sugar. It reminds me of a much more expensive polishing gel that I also loved. It smells gorgeous.

I love using it as it doesn't irritate or 'drag' on my skin and my skin does look bright and clean after using it. I particularly like using it to wash off make up as it is easy to get rid of every trace.

Another great product from Essano that I would recommend to anyone.

I love Essano hair products so I saw this product on offer, so I thought I'd give it a go. I always need a scrub, I love to scrub my face at least once a week if not twice. I feel like if I don't scrub my face I get really annoying flaky skin around my nose especially. I love that this product is all natural so I am all for it. It has a lovely smell, but my issue with this product was I didn't feel that it scrubbed my face much. It's very much for a gentle scrub so I didn't feel much of an effect from the product. I didn't it was anything special, and that I'd go buy it again. It was worth trying it, and discovering it. It's not terrible it just didn't do what I wanted it to for my face, it wasn't strong enough for me. I did feel it helped a little with brightening my skin, but nothing major or amazing. I would recommend this product for a gentle scrub.

I've recently got really into vitamin C, so when I needed a new scrub this naturally caught my eye.

As a long time user of Essano products, this fitted the usual brief with it's pink packaging and natural ingredients.

I also love that Essano products are New Zealand made.

Where this product differed was that it didn't have the rosehip scent I've long come to associate with the brand. And it was refreshing.

As for the scrub itself, an it's an ideal facial scrub as it's very gentle on the skin. It also makes it ideal for every day skin maintenance.

If you're looking for a deep invigorating scrub however, you may find it a little gentle.

This is one of my favourite products, polishes your skin leaving it clean bright and sparkingly smooth. Gentle enough to use every day (which I do), I found this product helps with breakouts and keeps my skin clean and clear. If my skin feels tired and I need a pick me up I will clean it and vitamin c polish before a serum.

This came in a sample pack that I purchased. Bought it because there are not many vitamin c products at the convenient stores (i.e supermarket) and wanted to try it. The beads are very fine and lathers well on skin when applied. I have combination skin and it left my skin feeling clean but dry most of the time. I have not noticed much of a difference in my skin after using this product at all. However would recommend buying the sample pack first to see if this is good for your skin/see how it reacts.

Picked this up in the vault and excited to try as it's been awhile since I last used an Essano product. Aesthically pleasing, dark bottle, rose pink label (signature from the brand). Package writing describes it as "Refresh & revive, micro exfoliant, gentle enough for everyday use."

Though I tend to use this in the evening, it has a lovely refreshing orange/fruity scent. Would probably be ideal for morning use. Slightly tinted colored gel with very fine gritty exfoliant. Reminds me of sand but a lot smaller granules. Would love to know what the exfoliant part is made of though I couldn't see it on the label.

It is a gentle exfoliant, skin is left feeling clean and unclogged, not dried out or over exfoliated. Was in two minds about this product after initially trying it but it's been a couple of weeks now and I quite like it. It's a good product, easily accesible for repurchase from the supermarket, an NZ brand and CF. Will be looking to repurchase when this one is used up. Which could be awhile as you don't need to use product, about a fingernail size amount is enough to get the job done.

I am a fan of essano’s products. I decided to purchase this because I was looking for a very gentle facial exfoliator, and this one claims to be gentle enough to use everyday. This “polishing scrub” comes in essano’s regular coloured packaging of pink and black. The bottle is an opaque black plastic with a white flip-top lid and a pink label. The bottle is 100ml. It claims to contain no “parabens, sulphates, silicones” or to be tested on animals. It contains “Micro-exfoliants” and is “Gentle enough for everyday use”. It is meant to “refresh and revive”.

The directions say to apply to damp skin and to gently massage in with circular motions, and then to rinse off with water. They say for best results to use it daily. I have been using this on my face nearly everyday in the shower since I purchased it. I have dry skin, which is easily irritated. However, I get congestion around my chin, nose, and forehead, which contributes to blackheads and whiteheads. I find that exfoliating helps to keep them at bay.

This scrub is easy to squeeze out of the bottle. You only need to use a small amount each time, and the nozzle on the flip lid means that you can easily control how much comes out. I have been using this for the past few months and I am only now reaching the bottom of the bottle. The product has a citrus scent, and is clear, with an orange tint. I think this is due to its vitamin C content. The formula is very gentle and it dissolves well. It has not irritated my skin, and my face feels less congested after using it. I have mostly used it daily, only easing off when my skin has been particularly irritated and dry.

Altogether I think this is the perfect facial exfoliator for people with dry and sensitive skin.

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR. It comes in the standard Essano packaging  which I find appealing.  A simple flip top lid and easy to squeeze bottle so you can get out the perfect amount.

It is a thick gel consistency and it smells great, very citrusy which I find uplifting in the morning. It has a very fine grit and does a great job at buffing dry skin away.

It leaves my skin feeling super soft and silky but I make sure to use a good moisturiser afterwards as I feel it could be a little drying. It doesn't break me out at all thankfully. I would buy this again.

I don’t buy a lot of essano brand but have been using this scrub weekly for about a year and I absolutely love the orange scent. In the ingredient list fragrance is quite low down but it’s very prominent. It reminds me of essential oils that you smell at a salon. The gel is clear but with a slightly orangey tint and the scrubbing grains are very small like fine white sand but smaller grains than at the beach. I use about a 20c piece amount after my normal cleanser in the shower and massage all over for 30 seconds or so, especially around my nose that can get congested. The bottle says it can be used daily but I wouldn’t feel comfortable exfoliating every day. Also in the ingredient list are pineapple and other fruit extracts so they’ve decided to add in some enzymes to help with removing dead skin cells. My skin definitely feels smoother after using the scrub but I’ll still reach for other forms of exfoliating on top of this. Whilst I’m never sure if scrubs really work over chemical exfoliators everyone seems to keep buying them if you look at the supermarket shelves there’s a huge range. I’d recommend this one to anyone purely for the scent and I will buy this again.

It has a slight citrus scent. I wouldn't use this on a daily basis more like weekly or when I feel that my skin needs that extra clean.
