I got this mascara as a recommendation from my cousin who loved it so I had to get my hands on it as I have been looking for a good non-waterproof mascara for everyday. Its safe to say that this has become my go-to mascara.I love how evenly it applies to my lashes and it doesn't dry fast so you can layer it for a fuller look or just keep it natural looking. I also really like that it comes off easily. There's nothing more annoying than coming home from work or school after a long day and having to try and scrub off the cement on your eyelashes. Those days have long gone! The mascara usually comes off in the shower or with any makeup wipe I have. However because it is more on the pricey end and more difficult to get compared to other brands, I try not to use it as much as I would like to however when I get the chance, I will be buying a backup. The only thing I did not like about the mascara is that the wand is a bit too big and I feel like it would be ten times better if it was narrower however, that is only a minor con for me.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review
Get bigger, blacker, badder lashes with our ultra-creamy, lengthening and volumizing mascara. So intense you might need a safe word, Perversion glides on and gets you sexy in one stroke. (Yet it won’t quit until you say when.) It’s insane how black it is…the purest, deepest, most intense black color imaginable.
Perversion has a creamy, full-bodied texture that’s not too dry, not too wet. This allows just the right amount of “pull” so it glides through lashes. The result incredible control for insane lashes. Go ahead and pile on coat after coat. Want to apply more before you go out at night? No problem. Even if it’s been all day since you applied, more Perversion always means more beautiful lashes. Our formula NEVER gets brittle or clumpy.
Perversion Mascara contains Hairdensyl, a complex blend of proteins and amino acids—including marine glycogen, known to stimulate lash growth. Honey extract provides deep nourishment, sea idrolized elastine stimulates the hair follicle, and marine collagen protects.
The twisted trim on the high-tech, volumizing brush latches on to each lash to separate and define; finally, a volumizing mascara with a clean, clump-free finish. It pulls through lashes smoothly and lays down a generous amount of product. No need to wiggle the wand or maneuver it at all different angles!
If you need to apply in public, you’ll look good holding Perversion. We emblazoned our gorgeous, highly metallized black tube with a big purple “Perversion” and our tagline “Bigger. Blacker. Badder.”

Tips: Dont be shy to apply as many layer as you like, clumping is not an issue!
As a gift with purchase I received a sample travel size of this mascara which I do enjoy getting as I like to use them up before they go dry and smaller sizes seem to cater to my needs best.
This mascara is black and does add a nice thick shade of darkness to your lashes. However, that is it, along with no clumps there is also no lengthening or adding of volume so it was not that impressive, great I think if you want to put down some colour before adding lashes that I know some people do and for lower lashes only it is good but alone no not really.
I love this mascara! The wand is big and results in dramatic lashes and the formula is creamy. I never need more than one coat, which is good because more than one coat can make it very and flaky. Great everyday mascara, but if you are looking for anything super dramatic, I'd look elsewhere.
Tips: Scrape brush against tube as you get it out to avoid uneven application
Urban Decay Perversion mascara has a huge fluffy wand, which is my absolute favourte for getting nice full lashes. Its formula is neither super wet or super dry, and gives gorgeous volume and length. This mascara can lean toward the clumpy side however, and I found I often had to follow up with a clean mascara brush to comb out the clumps.
I love how this mascara stayed on my lashes all day without flaking or running, and it also did a great job of holding the curl. I also found that this wasnt too difficult to remove, unlike many other waterproof mascaras.
I wouldnt typically spend $40 on a mascara, as I think that Maybelline offers comparable mascaras for a fraction of the price. This is however a really lovely and reliable mascara and I would recomend it to those whom have a more generous beauty budget.
I originally tried this as a sample and then was gifted a full sized version from an online store as a gift with purchase. I wasn't in love with the sample but the full size does work it's way into my routine once in a while.
A slick plastic black tube mascara with the Urban Decay trademark purple as detailing across its body, the spool is a thick full type that I typically like as it means full side swipes for volume and length. Being a very deep black sees one swipe coat each lash evenly with an intense deepness that doesn't require a second, the result is a soft look for that just enhanced natural look.
There is no clumping or flaking, unless you go in for a second coat and then all hell breaks loose, as the mascara dries almost immediately which is great for that get up and get out of the door moments but when you want your lashes to be long and full so that fluttering them would create an indoor fan effect (if only...I can dream) this isn't your friend as the second wet coat over the already dried coat on the lashes causes it to drag, which in turn means the lashes clump together and as you work it out it starts to flake and smudge so just don't do it.
It lasts all day through the humidity and the cool days, but haven't worn it on days when I could test it's waterproof capability as it hasn't rained for a while and haven't needed to have a good cry for a while. but seeing as it removes easily with an oil cleanser without leaving smudges under the eyes I can assume it would hold up pretty well to a little passing moisture.
I got this off strawberry net and it came with a free delux lash primer sample. This is one of the biggest mascaras ive brought, the tube is well worth it if you like quantity. The shades is very black as it says and the formula is creamy, medium/thick consistency and drys average-good. This extends my eyelashes very well, I get good length and volume. I find this does clump a little, not much but it does clump badly if you pop a extra coat on whilst the first is not completly dry.
Tips: Wait till the first coats fully dry before applying a second, to avoid clumping.
The first thing about this product is that it is blackest black in colour. If you are fed up with mascaras that claim to be black but don't give you the result you're after, then give this mascara a go because your lashes couldn't be any blacker when using it.
The formula is a good consistency, not to dry but not to wet. There is a good amount of time before the mascara dries to coat all lashes how you want while also drying in a quick enough time that you aren't going to have to worry about smudging.
However, I do find that this mascara clumps :( . I've used this mascara on freshly curled lashes as well as au natural and while it does not clump as much on freshly curled lashes, I did find it was something you needed to be mindful of.
Overall, a good mascara
Tips: Screw up the lid tightly! This mascara has the potential to dry out fast. I must not have done my lid on tightly enough as when I went to use it next, the formula was dry and clumpy
Not the perverted perversion... more the mascara type.
This is one of three absolute holy grail mascaras I completely adore - for reference, the other two are Benefit BadGal Lash and RollerLash.
I always buy the smaller size of mascara if possible because i'm super strict about the 3 month rule, and the smaller one of these comes in at less than $20 in Mecca Maxima.
The tube is nondescript - slim, dark, and with a simple purple logo. The brush is on a full length, slightly flexible wand, and the brush head is a simple barrel, slightly fatter through the middle with slightly tapered ends.
The formula is lovely. It looks a teeny bit clumpy on the brush bust applies beautifully, elongating, coating, and shaping lashes slightly. I have really long lashes and this lifts them without 'curling' per se. Lashes stand out in a pretty, bold-but-feminine way.
Removal is a cinch with oil cleanser, and lashes don't suffer breakage or fallout. I've bought this a few times now and will happily keep doing so!
Tips: go the smaller one more often rather than the bigger one upfront!
