This is a good product that reduces creasing and increases the life of your eye make up. Good to use everyday for simple make up. I have the primers in every colour so that I can match to my eye shadow of the day. I usually put this on before I do my foundation etc so that it has time to dry. This makes it easier to put your eye shadow on and have it stay in place instead of the primer still being a bit wet and your eye shadow getting moved around with it.

This product is another one from the ELF range that I purchased from I herb. It’s only about $3 USD, so I had nothing to lose.
The primer comes in a cylinder plastic tube and it about the length of a pencil, and the width of your finger. The lid of this product is black and pulls out to reveal a wand attached to it, which is used for application. Prior to this product, I had never used an eyelid primer so can’t compare the application or design to anything else I’ve used but I personally found this product easy to use and apply. Although I question how much wastage there would be with this sort of design. Plus the packaging does make this product feel cheap (which it is so I guess that’s fair enough).
I actually got my primer in the wrong colour. I simply chose the first on I saw, and had no idea that they come in other varieties as well. The colour I choose was a nude, skin colour one. Only problem is, my skin colour is a bit .. no a lot darker than that. This primer has quite a thin consistency, but it seems this consistency is perfect for the delicate eye area, and dries quite quickly after application.
I found the eye primers worked really well. Not only did it reduce the fall out of my eye shadows, it also made my eye shadows last longer. Additionally, with some eye shadows (but not all), it also made the eye shadows look more pigmented, and just gave them that extra pop.
I have to admit, for $3 I’m really impressed with this eye primer. It does a great job of keeping eye shadows looking great for longer, and adding the special pop of pigmentation. I would recommend everyone try this, and get it off I herb because it’s cheap as chips. I would buy this again, but in a different shade.
This is a cheap eyelid primer, so you're getting what you paid for. It does basically do what it's supposed to, but I find that, for me, it doesn't absorb as well as other primers so if I'm not careful it can be visible.
I cant say that I've noticed less creasing from my eyeshadows. so I'm not totally impressed with this primer. Wasn't really expecting much from it because of the price, but I do admit that I use it from time to time when I cant find my other preferred primer and am in too much of a rush to find it.
I think this primer is a really good, affordable option if you are on a tight makeup budget. It's only a few dollars and you can get it from quite a few places online and also instore at Kmart.
This is really easy to use, you simply swipe a small amount (definitely go with a small amount, too much and it will crease) on your eyelids and then I rub it in using my fingers. I then like to let it dry for a couple of minutes before I put shadow on top.
For a while this was my fave primer and I loved using it to get creaseless eyeshadow looks and to help colours be a bit brighter. Then summer came along and my eyelids started getting super oily and gross and this just didn't cut it for me anymore and my eyeshadows were creasing after only a couple of hours. I started using the urban decay primer potion and that is magic for my eyelids so I can't see myself using this product again.
I would still recommend it to others though, if you don't like it then you haven't wasted a large amount of money and if you do like it, then that is great. It does also come in a few other colours so that is handy when you want to do different kinds of eye looks. The tube has a really good amount of product in (I'd been using mine for months and still had heaps left).
I got this as part of a haul just because I saw it was cheap and I thought why not. It's by far not the best primer I've used (Fav at the moment is urban decay eyeshadow primer) but it does what a primer is supposed to do. It does the job and holds the eyeshadow for much longer, makes the colors more vibrant as well as makes the eyelid smoother looking. Because it's colored, it actually makes has a very slight concealer effect, so that's a plus. The texture is quite nice, and application is easy with the wand, although I prefer to blend it in with my fingers.
I won't bother buying any more primers - this one does the job well, and it's very affordable! It has a slightly oily texture which is odd when you apply it considering you want oil free lids, but it dries down well. Makes my eyeshadow last all day, despite my naturally oily lids. Don't use too much, and blend it in well with your finger. I prefer the 'sheer' shade. I also have 'pearl', but I didn't find it as long lasting and it was too sparkly.
Tips: Let it dry thoroughly before you apply your eyeshadow
Another iherb purchase for me, not one I will bother with again. The primer is thin and blends easily on the eyelids, shadow adheres well to it and I feel that it did help my eyeshadow to last well through the day. However it did nothing to make my shadow pop as other primers, paint pots or grease stocks do. I realise elf is a cheap and cheerful brand it the chemical smell of their products is a real turnoff for me. Will be sticking with my other primers from now on.
I dont hate it, but its not really my favourite. BUT for the price $3 on iherb you cant complain and it does stop creasing so thats a plus. On a down note, its quite thin and didnt effect the actual look/out come of my eyeshadow aplication, which is why I brought it. But its good to make the shadow last longer, I do however like the more expensive primers over this but its to be expected as you get what you pay for in most cases.
So I bought this in Champagne because I pretty much always want some form of shimmer in my look. I really don't know what to think. I feel like maybe I should splurge on a slightly higher quality eyeshadow primer, maybe even a paintpot, because although this primer makes my eyeshadow last a bit longer, it really doesn't do anything to make the colours "pop" and that's equally important to me in an eyeshadow primer. But I will say that it definitely stops my shadow from creasing and it might be my imagination here but I feel like my shadow was applied more smoothly with this underneath it. So I don't know, I don't think it's an amazing primer but I also don't think it's awful either. I've also noticed that it kind of clumps around my lashline.
I don't know why but this product just didn't work for me at all...for my daughter it works perfectly! It just rolls off the skin of my lid and doesn't stick to it. My eyelids are a wee bit oily but not so much that it should not stay! I find the product quite powdery and thin. It doesn't make any difference to the pigment of my eye shadow either and actually makes my shadow crepe. I am unlikely to purchase this product again.
