Was so excited to dive into e.l.f's products for the first time. I bought this liner in the shade charcoal and in store the whole bottle looked black but now that I look at it, it's like a dark bluey grey on the bottom of the bottle. The brush is too thick to get a very pointed wing so your wing is going to be so blunt. I found it a bit watery but it's pigmented and dries nicely. When I took it off the first time with a makeup wipe I laughed because it came off so easily and it's definitely going to run down your face if you cry or get caught in the rain, and for the price it's disappointing that it's not even waterproof in the slightest. I still use this product but not for long periods of time because it won't stay. I'm sure this brand has nicer products but beware of this one.

This eyeliner is a good value for the cheap price. I find that it goes on easily, though it can go on a bit thin. So sometimes I end up doing two layers. Once dry after a few hours I do find it cracks a bit, so if you're making any obvious cat-eye statements this probably isn't the product for it.
Tips: Try applying a second layer :)
This Elf liquid eyeliner is one of the easiest to apply. The packing is very simple and compact. The extra thin brush makes application very quick and painless, however the formula is so watery that it takes ages to dry.
Once the liner has dried, it loses a lot of pigment. Jet black liner dries to become a sad grey colour. I would not recommend for people with monolids - it does not have the stay power.
Easy to apply and draw sharp lines but found it stuck my eyelashes together, even the next day after using oil based eye make up remover my eyelashes still felt like they were stuck together
Tips: Apply mascara first as mascara doesn't seem to go on smoothly after the eyeliner is applied
I find this really easy to use. The brush is not hard so you don't end up poking your eye. The formula of the eyeliner is runny but it makes application smooth.
The thing I do not like is that sometimes the brush can have faults, such as a strand poking out which is annoying.
Tips: Apply using shorter strokes, it allows more control and a more precise line.
Seriously my favourite liquid liner! It's so easy to apply and is easy to wipe off. It's also really affordable and great for beginners.
I Love elf products, but truth be told, they can be pretty hit or miss, and this was a big, fat, let down! I'm still pretty bitter about it (even though it was only $3)l
I brought this on iherb, so yes it was $3. A great price for an eyeliner if you ask me. I had read a lot of reviews, and people were calling this their holy grail. A holy grail eyeliner for $3? That was enough to make me whip out the old credit card.
This liner comes in the same packaging as the revlon one. It comes in a small container, with a wand that it attached to the lid. Simply turn the lid to pull out the wand.
The wand has an almost paint brush tip on the end, its really soft and thin so relatively easy to draw that perfect line. However, the formula is very smooth and runny which means it is quite easy to make a mess of your eyeliner if you are not paying attention.
This eyeliner goes on black as night, which is exactly what I want. But by the end of the day, the black had faded, and it is more a charcoal grey which is not a good look. I will keep trying to love this eyeliner, maybe I just got a bad bottle, I will never know... but for the time being I will be sticking with me Za Liquid liner.. that thing is amazing!
This product is seriously so cheap you can't go wrong! I was really impressed with it and used the whole tube :) I would recommend it for anyone starting out with makeup, looking for practise for to build their collection :)
I brought this one as I wasn't overly confident with liquid & didn't want to spend a whole heap of money on something that could have ended up just being shoved away never to be used again!
This little lovely has allowed me to practice my wings with ease!
The handle is easy to hold, the brush is the perfect shape & size & the product actually lasts all day. It is prone to smudging but who rubs their eyes with wings on anyway!?! I found that it does take about 60 seconds to dry but I don't see that as an issue to be honest.
I actually have not tried another brand so I cannot compare this to anything higher end. I will when this runs out...
But for a beginner who needs practice.. I rate it!
This is the first liquid liner I purchased. I've used pencil liners before but never a liquid one which means my technique was probably going to be shocking (even considering the amount of videos I've watched where someone else does it). It glided on easily and so thin. Once it dries it's super easy to fix up and small mistakes. Absolutely recommend!
Tips: Start with a line of pencil right across the lid then go over with the liquid line to deepen the colour and create smooth lines and wings
