This is one of my favourite fragrances. This is the smell that I would always smell as a child, this is my mum's favourite perfume. I love the spicyness to it. It's gentle but has a bit of a kick to it. I absolutely love it. I personally would never wear it, but that's just because I've grown up smelling it on my mum, and now it's like it's her signature smell. However I definitely recommend it.

Tips: Don't use too much as it will get overpowering.
I have had this perfume numerous times over the years and must say its best suited for mature person or a strong woman (meaning skin tone, as I am maori and its suits me perfectly) as the scent can be quite powerful. Its great for daywear, as I wore it for work (its lasts for hours) as the saying goes a lil goes a long way. Although it was released many years ago older I love the classic rose red perfume scent.
Tips: Same as all my perfumes, stored in original packaging/box, kept out of sunlight and heat. Its a definitely a must have in any collection for over 30 years.
I honestly cannot understand how this fragrance is so popular!! Maybe I'm not the right target age group for it (I get the impression it's a more mature ladies scent- a classic that's been around for years and people that have had it keep getting it?!) I'm not sure- but I'm sure of one thing this fragrance is definitely not for me!!
The bottle is classy and classic- a simple design that looks beautiful. The price is reasonable as well - that's about the only positives I have .., The scent is just so overpowering and very distinct - not a bad thing if you don't mind it but for me I can smell it a mile away (and it's not good!) ... Usually I'm a huge fragrance fan but this one just failed to win me over.
Tips: Spray sparingly?! Lol, for the sake of the likes of me ;)
This perfume was long lasting and lasted all day. In the end I didn't like how strong it was and didn't wear it often because of it. It smells nice but just far too strong for me because it overpowers everything else when I was wearing it. I love the bottle it's so cute and it's easy to use.
Tips: Don't spray on too much it can be overpowering
It smells funny but its really good. I would rather buy the other Arden purfumes but this one is definitely one to try. I wore it to work and it lasted a long time and sometimes I just liked smelling my clothes coz it smelt so good.
Tips: Put on neck and clothes at front where you and others can smell.
I've been a fan of Red Door for many years now. It comes in a gorgeous red bottle and I buy the spray - although I understand it comes also in a non spray bottle. I find it very feminine and sweet and but not too 'flowery'. It is exotic and not too far in fragrance from opium (my favourite perfume). I find it lasts around 4 hours per day, as I prefer it for a day perfume. I usually have the 50 mls EDT which costs around $50 and I believe this is a good price as it lasts for ages. I would recommend it to anyone who likes an exotic sweet perfume.
Tips: Spray on areas prone to heating to regenerate it at intervals.
My mother in law brought me a bottle of this a few years ago for christmas and every year since then my husband buys me a new bottle for christmas..it is my all time favourite perfume..
this is amazing im in the younger generation and every time ive smelt red door it has been by the older generation im trying to get my friends and everyone into this as it is the best all round perfume... it lingers on clothes which lasts very long and in some cases even can smell the perfume after ive washed my clothes which makes them smell that much better i dont know anyone that has used this product say one bad thing about it the price range is good and the shape and look of the bottle is clever and eye catching pleaseeeee dont change a thing i soooo love this and im due to buy another one soon i love it that much :)
I was lucky enough to get this perfume from the previous beauty vault -thanks BR! Red Door is really known as an iconic fragrance, so I really wanted to try this for myself.
Firstly, the perfume is in the shape of a red door, which is distinctive in itself. It looks elegant and different than other perfume bottles I have on my dresser. The gold top looks lovely against the red colour of the bottle.
Secondly, the scent is hard to define but it's a lovely mix of florals (rose, jasmine, violets, lilies and more) yet smells slightly spicy as well. I find it to be a beautiful scent that is quite different to the other fragrances I own.
Just a little spray really lasts for a significant amount of time. Even after a full day I can smell the lingering notes of this fragrance. The staying power really is amazing.
I think some people may view this as an 'older lady' scent but I think it really can appeal to a wide range of women as its such a classic and sophisticated scent.
Overall I'm impressed and glad I got to try this lovely, timeless fragrance.
For those of you who haven't tried this fragrance, go ahead you might be surprised!
Tips: Only spray a small amount, too much and it can be slightly overpowering.
I've worn this on and off over a few years. It's a long-lasting scent, floral with a wee bit of spice but not fruity which I like. While I would wear it again, it's not my first choice however it's a well established fragrance, probably aimed at a slightly older audience and if you like something a bit stronger this might be the thing for you. Cute packaging as well!
