Not that great

I'm really disappointed with the quality of the Garnier Micellar cleansing wipes as I truly love the bottled product.

They come in the standard makeup wipe plastic packaging, and I found the resealable tab on my packet was actually pretty decent. It's always upsetting when you can't actually reseal the packaging properly and your freshly opened wipes dry out quickly.

I am going to have to agree with Trudi, the wipes are really dry, this leads them to not being very effective at removing your make up, and it makes it very very scratchy when you try to remove eye makeup.

The cooling/refreshing feeling of the original liquid micellar water when removing eye makeup was the major drawcard for me to this product as I thought it would be great for travel. Instead I have used up my packet mainly by using like three in a row to remove what make up I can before going in again and double cleansing with a face wash, and just as a general face refresher on hot days.

Really disappointing

I'm a huge fan of Garnier Micellar Water and when I found out it came in wipe form I was stoked. I'm not a huge fan of wipes but they're super handy for in the gym and cleaning up your hairline when you're dying your hair, plus I've been travelling a lot and thought I'd check them out.

Packaging wise they're pretty simple - a pretty pink and white package in keeping with the liquid version, with a resealable tab.

The wipes are mid softness/thickness, but - and here's the issue - they're really dry. I don't understand this. Micellar Water works best when you're generous with it. So why, WHY have dry wipes? So confusing.

Because of this, I find I have to ADD water to them (and sometimes even add micellar water as well!) to get them to even approach being useful to me. I get a far better result using regular baby wipes, to be honest.

I may have had a dud packet but I got them the first week I saw them so they can't have been sitting on the shelves that long - i think they've just missed out something with the manufacturing.

I'd try them again as a GWP or if they were on super special just to see if they improved, but I'm not holding my breath, unfortunately.

Tips: Skip it. Use baby wipes and micellar in a spray bottle - cheaper, and a better result!
