Using jelly moisturiser was a first for me - and I was pleasantly surprised! At first, it felt a bit weird - then it just absorbed right into my skin (which was such a different sensation to the creme moisturisers I've always used). What I really noticed was the fantastic base it gave for my makeup! It left my skin looking more smooth. The makeup sat so much better and you don't have to wait long for it to settle. I'm off on holiday soon so it will be interesting to see how it works in hotter temperatures - I've heard jelly moisturisers are great for that. Another win was that it didn't clog my pores and give me breakouts. I always worry about this when trying a new moisturiser. So I'd say - give it a go! I think you'll be impressed.

The jelly texture took a bit to get used to, it went on smoothly and did melt into my skin and at first i was probably putting too much on my face, it has nice fragrance not too overpowering, i did notice a difference and my skin appeared to be less dull. i do prefer to use moisturizers that have sunscreen in them.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
I was so excited about this one! I have always been a gel moisturiser fan and what's better than gel? Jelly? No, not this time. The idea of having a clear jelly moisturiser is really cool, until you realise you can't see how much product you've got... I found I couldn't consistently use the same amount each time (I dip my index finger in). I either picked up too little or WAY too much. A pump type packaging would've been ideal for this moisturiser to be able to get the right amount. The consistency on my face while trying to apply it felt like PVA glue until it had 'melted' in. It could easily have been mistaken from my peel off mask based on that alone. Even then it left my skin feeling quite tacky to the touch for some time afterwards, which is great if you're following up with applying foundation in the morning, but not great when you're heading to bed and it feels like your face is sticking to your pillow... The claim that it hydrates for 48hrs unfortunately wasn't the case for me. Using twice a day after cleansing my face I found after 5 days my skin felt drier than normal. Fast forward another few days and my skin was noticeably drier. The skin on my forehead was visibly flakey! My skin would be considered their ideal candidate being normal to combination/oily but it did nothing positive for me. I've used other branded Vitamin C moisturisers in the past and there has always been a noticeable difference in my skin tone. With the Garnier Vitamin C Jelly, there was no difference. This is one moisturiser that won't be appearing on my shopping list in future.
So I was a lite nervous about going into trying this product but I was excited by the citrus extract and vitamin C. It definitely left my skin feeling hydrated and I actually ended up really enjoying the texture on my face. I can't say it gave me a glow or change my complexion using it but I did notice a difference in the skin.
I received this product to trial along with a Garnier face wash. I mention this because when you're trying more than one thing at the same time, it can be hard to tell which product is causing any issues.
For starters, this moisturiser comes in a super cute, easy to use, glass jar with a pale green screw-on lid. This makes the most of the absolutely clear gel inside.
When I apply it, it feels lovely on my skin - similar to applying aloe vera gel. Unfortunately, it seems to be so light that I apply more than I would of another moisturiser.
Ultimately while trying these products my skin has been fairly horrible. I think the cleanser hasn't been cleansing my dry winter skin enough, then I'm whacking too much moisturiser on it, because this stuff just seems to dry out on my face so quickly.
Ultimately, I think this gel might be great for a summer midday pick me up, but it's not nourishing enough for my combination skin. It's not a product I'd pick up again.
Tips: This would be delightful applied straight from the fridge on a hot day!
Enjoyed this product. Nice packaging and left my skun looking more plump and rejuvenated, though I found it dried my skin out somewhat. I thought the jelly like consistency would leave you with a glass skin hydrated look but not the case. It does soak in pretty quickly and is non sticky which I appreciated. Also dud not feel heavy on the skin either
Thanks to the BR team for the opportuniyy to try this product. Presented in a clear glass jar, the clear jelly like moisturiser delivers a hit of Vitamin C to your skin. It promises to refresh and brighten your complexion. With 98% of the ingredients being of natural origin, the jelly itself smells lighty citrusy and packs quite a punch. Too early to say whether or not it helps brighten skin long term, I love it. A small amount the size that covers my finger pad, is more than enough for my face, neck and decolletage, meaning it spreads well and will last some time. I like the fact that it has no spf added. As topical Vitamin C, can make your skin more sun sensitive, applying separtely ensures that you have added enough. My skin does feel fresh, slightly tingly and the moisture lasts all day
Tips: Make sure you wear sunblock and reapply as needed.
It's jelly and it's amazing. I'm definitely keeping this magical jelly in my life! It's light, it's clear, it absorbs so quickly and leaves no stickiness. I've never used a jelly before, so I can only compare it to a standard moisturizer cream, this product definitely is magic in a pottle. I've been using it morning and night for the past 3 weeks and my skin is more hydrated, dry patches have cleared and my oily areas are no more, my skin feels so much softer and brighter. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. Definitely make the swap if you can, no regrets!
Tips: I've been applying to my face all over and then using a little more on the target zones, especially in winter. The area around my nose has been quite dry, but no more. You do not need much but I do recommend applying both morning and night.
The jelly feel is definitely very nice, it applies smoothly and feels refreshing when going on the skin. I would however not recommend if you have dry skin or more mature skin like mine. It doesn’t provide enough moisture. It was great for my teenage daughter
My first impression was that the jar was empty. It wasn't until I opened it that I realised the jelly was clear! Which is my first issue with this product. You can't see it. Which makes it really hard to work how much you have on your finger and where you've blobbed it on your face. Especially hard early in the morning when my brain wasn't in gear! More often than not I thought I'd got enough out, only to have to go back and get more on the odd occasion, I'd over done it and had far more out than I needed. But other than the lack of colour, it's a nice product - again it has a light fragrance and a great texture. It just sinks in with no stickiness. It has a an odd stage for a few minutes after application where it feels not quite tight but I guess like its doing something, but it soon passes and my skin then felt soft and moisturised, but not heavy or like it was sitting on my skin. It's a great base for under make up. Which leads to my second grumble - it doesn't have SPF in it.
Tips: Go for little bits and get more if needed - to prevent grabbing loads of product!
