This is a game changer!! Love the eyelash curler, was a little nervous at using them at first but they really do the trick! I have had fake eyelashes before and it is uncomfortable, costly and time consuming. This is the next best thing but without the hassle. The results are terrific. Its quick, easy and safe to use. Lovely curled lashes that make your eyes stand out. I often use instead of mascara now. My new favorite beauty product!

Tips: Number 1 tip would have to be making sure you’ve held them on for the desired amount of time to get the curl right!
This product took a bit of practice to get right, so don't give up on it before you've given it a good go. It heats up really quickly, but not to a point you'll burn yourself if you touch the heated silicone bits, so it's really safe to use. Easy to see when it's reached temperature as the silicone strips go white. I found once I'd worked out what I was doing the curl looked great and with mascara lasted all day.
Tips: Is a bit tricky in the beginning, but practice makes perfect.
I love this it honestly is great for making my eyelashes really long with out putting heaps of mascara on. It’s comfortable to use and doesn’t burn you’re lash I think it’s great that it heats up fast it’s also great the colour changes to indicate it’s ready taking the guess out of it. It is easy and very handy to have in you’re makeup bag. I would definitely get another one if this one ever decided to stop working.
Tips: wait until the sensor changes colour as it doesn’t curl as efficiently if you do it when it isn’t ready to go.
I was so excited to try this curler as I curl my eyelashes every day. Bofh of my young teenage girls couldn't wait to try it either. First impressions were great. The box is appealing and the curler itself looks high end. However, I found it no better than a regular clamp eyelash curler. Even though it only takes 60 seconds to heat up, it's a little annoying waiting for it. So the 2nd day I used it, I turned it on at the start of my routine, and then i forgot about it and ran the batteries flat! The 3rd day I got into a better routine with it, but I really didn't feel that it curls my lashes any better than the regular clamp. It may make the curl last a little longer given that it heats the lash up, and it is maybe a little gentler than the regular clamp. Although in saying that, I didn't find it as easy to clamp the lashes either, it was a bit awkward. Given the price, I think I will just stick with the basic one. Pros: slightly gentler and better for lashes. Cons: Takes time to heat. Doesn't work any better than regular clamp. It would be really annoying when you need to use it, or you are away, and the batteries have run out and you don't have any replacement batteries. I do love the concept, but found it much easier and more convenient to use my regular clamp.
Comment from my teenage daughters: "it wasn't good, but it wasn't bad. It took longer to use than a normal one. It was nice to use, but not as good as a normal one"
Tips: Make sure you have extra batteries on hand. The Chemist Warehouse is selling it for half the price of anywhere else if you want to try it.
It’s a beautiful, sleek & a glamourous looking gadget! And so easy to carry in your purse. The first day I tried it, I was a bit scared of burning my eyes. But after the first use found it quite easy. Really, it’s such a simple & easy gadget. I did different trials the first few days to see the difference, not using a curler on one eye & using the manicure on the other eye or using the regular curler one eye & using the manicure on the other eye. And then getting my family to guess which eye I used the manicure on. Of course, they guessed it right away:) This was such a fun review for me! The eye lashes curl up better with a manicure than a regular curler. Finish with mascara and a liner to get the ultimate look!
Tips: Use mascara after using the manicure and not before. If you apply mascara before using the manicure, lashes become a bit hard and don’t curl up well.
I had been wanting to try heated lash curler for a while, but a bit worried about them being too hot and either damaging my eyes, or worse yet singeing off what little lash I had! No need to worry at all. The silicone pads that change colour when heated to the optimum temperature are a great idea and also super cushioning. Previously only using regular (and cheap) curlers, I had on occasion had lashes that looked crimped not curled, not the greatest look! These curlers did not crimp at all, just a nice, eyes wide open curve. Gentle on natural lashes. And not scary hot like hair straighteners so easy to have near your eyeballs without fear of lash loss! I would say it did take alot longer than a minute to reach the right temperature, but that may of been because I was using cheap batteries. Overall I would recommend them, easy to use and giving a nice curl
Tips: I would recommend the double curl, once at the root of the lashes, and a second curl nearer to middle
I have thin , short eyelashes that point down. I tried to use this heated eyelash curler and make it work for me,by pressing the silicone pad (once clear and heated) on to my lashes then holding for 30 seconds and also trying a different way by pressing for 15 seconds then moving the silicone pad closer to my eyelid then pressing again, sadly it didn’t make any difference. I have used heated lash curlers in the past and they have worked for me.
I think this curler is not curved enough to fit to the curvature of my face therefore cannot reach all my lashes as close to my eyelid as possible.
It is easy to use, I like to gold design, but will not recommend this to someone with thin/ short lashes. I think this would work for someone with long lashes.
I really enjoyed this trial - thanks BR!
This eyelash curler is lovely to hold and use - I always find the metal curlers hard to hold (maybe it's a left-handed thing?)but this just fits your hand and thumb perfectly.
It doesn't take long to reach temperature, and doesn't get so hot you feel like you're risking life nor eye using it.
The curl and lift it achieves is actually really impressive - without mascara it's a 'your lash but better' result. With mascara it's 'your lash with maximum drama'! I LOVE BOTH!
I am converted, I love this product and it will be used daily.
Sometimes tech exists just to add a layer of complication to things I think. But this product actually steps up the traditional lash curler.
I HATE those metal clamps, man my eye twitches just thinking about them; my eyelids are probably reliving the trauma of being pinched.
The silicone pads on this curler are so soft and cushioning, your eyelashes feel like they're being hugged not tugged.
It runs on batteries which are easy to install. I don't mind the battery aspect actually, I know some might prefer charger.
I like that the pads change colour, letting you know its to temp.
The curl it gives is very impressive and lasts through the day, into the night. Even without mascara it boosts your eyes, making them look open and wide!
Firstly, thank you BR for allowing me to trial this, Neat little tool much better than using a manual curler. Main body of the curler is a gold coloured plastic with black trim and a gel pad for curling your lashes. Big downside is its battery operated instead of USB as batteries only lasted a week, if thats the case it will be an expensive device to run. Took a while to get used to using the curler, still getting the knack of it but worked well considering i have really short lashes. I left it on my lashes for about 60 seconds. I have to use it a few times to get it to lift my lashes but it does make them look better. I needed to be careful that it wasnt too close to my lashes as it did feel on the hot side but didn't want to take the risk of seeing if it did burn. My only gripe really is its not USB and how long will the Gel pad last as from looking at the device it doesnt appear it can be replaced - perhaps pass on this feedback to Manicare. Overall I am happy with the device
.
Tips: With short lashes may need to try a few times to achieve a result. Keep a supply of batteries
