Linden Leaves Eye Rescue Serum is paraben and sls free, is not tested on animals and is a soothing, cooling, nourishing and hydrating eye serum with a wonderful rose scent that evokes memories of walking through a rose garden after a rain shower. The liquid lotion is packaged in a simple, white 15ml plastic tube with a roller ball applicator and screw on lid.
Containing the antioxidant properties of organic white tea, the toning and nourishing properties of rose and the balancing and hydrating properties of grapeseed oil, this eye serum is suitable for all skin types (including sensitive skin) and promises to help minimise visible signs of ageing and refresh stressed or tired eyes.
The simple packaging makes the eye serum really easy to apply. I simply roll the roller ball applicator lightly under my eyes (avoiding direct contact with my eyes) and then gently pat the product into my skin using my ring fingers.
The serum does feel soothing and refreshing but, to be honest, I haven't really noticed a reduction in fine lines (or visible signs of ageing) around my eyes, so I can't really comment on whether this product lives up to all its promises.
Linden Leaves products are expensive and compared to other eye creams and eye serums that I've used in the past, I really can't see much difference between an expensive product like this and a cheaper, more affordable alternative (other than the organic ingredients that this one claims it contains).
Would I purchase this product again or recommend it to a friend? Probably not.
I received this product in a goodie box awhile ago, and I absolutely love it! I love the packaging for this product! It comes in a squeezable tube with a silver rollerball applicator which feels soothing on the eyes. it has a screw on lid which keeps it hygienic. The serum itself is clear and leaves my eyes feeling refreshed. However, I probably wouldn't repurchase it again for the full price as I still prefer to use coconut oil.
I probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone who needs a lot of hydration around the eyes, or anyone with mature skin.
I see this more as a soothing and cooling serum rather than it offering any anti-ageing benefits.
Tips: Store it in the fridge or somewhere cold for an extra refreshing cold boost!
