I was so lucky to secure this baby in the vault, luckiest day of my life!
I really was a bit of a brow novice and never tried too many things with them until i got this kit.
It comes in a nice looking pallette with a cover that slids off [I have discarded this]. You open this up and you are greeted by three generous rounds of colour and wax. There is a double ended brush, one end has a spoolie and the other end has an angled brush. I use the brush for the wax and another brush for applying the colour.
In the first round is two colours. Blonde and light brown. Next is a round of sculpting wax and next is the darker shades of the pallette being taupe and raven.
I use everything in this pallette except raven. I start with the sculpting wax to shape my brows and then run the brush over the two lighter colours for my base colour, then finish with the taupe. This gives my brows depth and definition that they never had before.
I do love this pallette and I send my thanks and grattitude to BR for this amazing chance to try this.
I would go so far as to say this is my Holy Grail brow kit.
I was very, very lucky to receive this in the last BR vault- thanks so much BR. I'm still a novice when it comes to brows, I always look at friends, bloggers and you tubers with envy. They have the best, most gorgeous eyebrows and then there is me with unshaped brows, ok they are groomed but shapely nope that is what they are not. So I thought this would be perfect to experiment with.
The packaging is cute it's like a cardboard palette with a magnet that closes it shut I also love that it's black, who doesn't love black? I open it up and see a decent sized mirror on the top half and then the shades, oh those pretty shades, there is two lighter shades blonde and light brown, these are very light then there is the sculpting wax then taupe and raven. Taupe is like a brown and raven is a very dark brown/black. I've been using taupe which is the perfect shade for me it's almost like the shade from the BDB universal pencil we received in a beauty box. It also has a small applicator with a spoolie at one end and an angled brush at the other end.
I start off with the spoolie and shape my brows as best I can and tame any wayward hairs. I then dip the angled brush into the wax and sculpt them, this is awesome because the wax isn't greasy or oily and the hairs stay in place. I then go lightly into 'Taupe' and start filling in the sparse areas on my brows. Two things with the powder is, it looks so dry and almost chalky in the pan but when you actually apply it, it's quite creamy and holy moly it's pigmented! It really wasn't wasn't what I was expecting but I am truly in love with it.
I have even been a bit more bold and gone for a bolder brow look, which yes it looked amazing but I don't feel overly confident going to town with it on, but hey gotta start sometime right?
Overall this has to be hands down the best brow product I have used and it only takes me a few minutes to create nice looking brows. Would I repurchase? Yip in a heartbeat, it's totally worth every penny.
