Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate Review

I have been loving trialing this product.

This product is packaged beautifully, the bottle is lovely with a nice silver lid. I have found the bottle easy to open and it has a nice dropper to apply a small amount to your face. A little goes a long way. It is silky smooth and has a pleasant scent. I apply a drop to my forehead, cheeks and chin, it spreads well and absorbs into skin nicely with no residue. My skin is sensitive and even using it twice a day I have not reacted to it. I use it in the morning under my foundation. My skin is looking smooth and glowing. I would definitely recommend this product.

This facial serum comes in a luxe glass bottle. The lid has a dropper with the required amount that you dispense in your palm and dot over your face, then finish off with smoothing strokes. The serum is clear and contains probiotics.

Initially my skin needed more than one dropper of serum and now that my skin has improved I just need the one.

My skin feels smooth, slightly firmer and is more youthful in touch and appearance. I have used this morning and night for approximately 3 weeks so yes it has met it's initial claims. The next claim is for major signs of ageing appear improved after using one bottle so I will add to this review if I notice further improvements.

This sank into my skin and definitely improved the texture. Would I buy this? Yes if it was in my budget.

I'm going to start with the only potential negative, which is the cost. This is definitely an investment in skin care, it's not one to pick up on a whim that's for sure - I'd recommend trying a sample first. Chances are you'll be wowed enough to buy it!

I am ticking along in years and coming up to December was feeling a little fed up about my lines and wrinkles. A recent birthday only compounded the grumpiness about my ageing face. So thanks BR, this came at the right time!

The bottle and packaging are pure class, what else would you expect from Lancome?

I've been using this twice a day after cleansing. I've been applying as I would my usual serum when my skin is ever so slightly damp - it seems to help the serum absorb faster and spread easier, without sitting on the skin.

I experience no untoward sensations upon application, but I can feel the product, if that makes sense.

I like to wait around 3-5 minutes before applying my usual moisturiser, just to ensure this is probably absorbed.

After several weeks of use my skin looks and feels remarkably better than before. The texture is more even, less crepey and saggy. Tighter, without being tight. It's plumped up my fine lines and I believe my deeper wrinkles are at the beginning of looking improved.

My skin feels incredibly soft and supple, I don't feel like the dry old crone of just a few weeks ago.

This isn't exactly botox in a jar - but nor did I expect it to be. But as serums go, this is the best I've tried and I honestly don't think it can be surpassed. I will continue use while I put some money aside to replenish when this bottle is empty!

I was really pleased to be invited to test this concentrate. It comes in a glass bottle so don't drop it on your tiles. Has a very faint pleasant smell. The dropper has the correct amount for you to put onto your palm and then transfer to you face. I massaged it into my skin and made sure to cover the whole face and under the chin. It is actually a lot and covered my face very well. I let it dry before I put on my moisturiser as it takes a moment to soak into your skin. I have been using morning and night. My skin is looking really good and is very soft. I would use this product again as there is a lot of serum in the bottle and my skin soaks it up.

I consider myself a late bloomer when it comes to skincare, especially if it is more than just wash/moisturise, so I was super excited to trial the Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate. Being closer to 40 than anything else it is definitely time to start being proactive about skincare and this product sounded like what I needed. Firstly the presentation - beautiful! From the box to the bottle, it is all presented in an elegant way. The bottle itself is not just nice to look at but it also has a self measuring dropper. Basically when you screw the dropper/lid back in place it re-loads with its next dose - this means that every time you use it you have the perfect amount to use. This system has worked 99% of the time, it didn't re-load one time but possibly i hadn't quite clicked the lid into place. My only negative comment on the bottle would be that because of the coloring I wonder how easy it will be to tell when the product is running low. The concentrate itself is silky smooth to apply and absorbs nicely into the skin. For the first 10-12 days I applied it as directly, morning and night, and I definitely noticed a difference in my skin - it looked younger but I can't pinpoint exactly what the change was, maybe fresher, more "plump". However I then noticed that my skin was starting to feel almost oily, like it couldn't absorb the product properly. So I dropped down to night time only for a few days and my skin seemed to even out again. After nearly 3 weeks of using it, I haven't noticed any more changes to my skin - but from reading the directions I really feel like you need to use the whole bottle before making a final decision.

It was wonderful to get the opportunity to try this product. I love Lancome.

This product comes in a very classy black and silver box. Inside is a lovely bottle, black with white writing and a silver top. It looks very sleek and space-age. It has a screw top that opens to reveal a dropper. You press the top and the dropper releases the product.

The product is a cloudy gel-like substance, and when applied it is pleasantly thick and soft. It has a smell I'm not so keen on. To my senses it has a bit of a chemical undertone.

I have been using the product twice daily after cleansing. It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. The product claims that it targets the visible signs of fatigue to help restore skin's luminosity while you sleep, for youthful, radiant complexion.My skin does look even and fresh in the morning and has improved, but as yet youthful and radiant might be a stretch. I'm impressed with this product though, it is very good. Would I use it again? yes but it is outside my budget unfortunately. For anyone else, if you get the chance to try it then I do recommend it.

The black boxed packaging is opulent and elegant. It has the Lancome signature small rose on the lid of the box. Once you open the lid of the box there are written instructions and a visual on the inside to show how to use the serum applicator. The packaging makes you feel like you are in for a high quality, luxurious experience.

Inside the box is an elegant, sturdy glass bottle that is cleverly ombre from black to white and has a steel like cap. The cap has the Lancome signature small rose on top.

To use, simply twist the silver cap open to reveal a glass, self-loading dropper. There is no guess work on the correct portion to use, as it dispenses the right amount every time I use it.

I apply Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate after cleansing in the morning as a day serum and in the evening as a night serum. My face looks very forward to this routine as well.

After cleansing and applying Lancome Genifique - Eye Light Pearl, I then apply Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate. Simply unscrew the lid of Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate and press on top of the dropper to dispense the serum into your hand. With your free hand dip your fingers in to the product and dot onto your forehead, nose, chin and both cheeks. Gently rub into your skin.

Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate serum is lightweight, easily absorbs into your skin and leaves no residue.

My experience has only been for a short time but the benefits it has consistently given my skin during this time has already made me a huge fan. At the time of writing my review today, I have been using Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate twice a day for just over 2 weeks. This wonderful serum has 100% smoothed out my complexion and my skin feels supple. My skin is looking the best that it has in a very long time. It is like a pre-skin care booster shot that takes your entire routine to the next level.

I know I have already mentioned it but I do love how my entire face feels smoother and less textured. This is an easy product to use and incorporate into a daily routine. Hydrating goodness.

I love Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate and will continue to use.

I also got a trial size of this product and it is legit amazing. I used it under my foundation and found my skin stayed hydrated and soft all day. But as much as I love it, I just can't afford it right now. It is expensive!
