Tips: make sure each time you buy a new bottle to get your colour tested again at different times of the year your skin changes and sometimes they change the formula too
I work as a Makeup Artist and am always fully booked for weddings. This is my goto for foundation. It's long lasting, gives great coverage from natural to full and comes in sooo many colours it easy to find the right one.
Tips: Set this with a coloured (not translucent) powder over top to avoid any flashback from photography!
I have been using this off and on over the last few years, I do happen to prefer this one over all the other liquid foundations I have tried and trust me I have tired heaps :D I do love the fact that it does give a full coverage which is what I like, and it does last all day, doesn't transfer onto clothes or headset (I work in a call centre) so that is also important to me... pricing is very affordable...........
I have been using Revlon Colourstay Foundation on and off for several years now and I always go back to it. For the price and quality I just haven't found anything that compares. I would say its medium coverage but is build able to a full coverage. Applies smoothly, has a beautiful finish and is long lasting.
Tips: I find best applied with a flat top foundation brush.
Revlon color stay is one of my favorite foundations. Is packing is okay, it would be good if it had a pump to prevent wastage of foundation. It has a thick consistency. I usually apply with a beauty blender 2 layers which gives me very good coverage.
I have been trying to find a foundation that would suit my sensitive-dry skin without sticking to the dry patches. I read so many good reviews on BR and decided I had to give this foundation a go.
The packaging is sturdy and the pump makes the product easy to get out. I use a brush to apply this foundation and it doesn't leave any streaks or dry patches after applying. On my skin this is a medium coverage foundation, but is definitely buildable. I have a lot of freckles, but I don't like covering them up completely, so this foundation is perfect because it gets rid of my redness but lets my freckles show through. My boyfriend even noticed how nice the foundation was sitting on my skin.
I will be repurchasing this foundation lots more now because it is definitely my go-to!
I have quite a light complexion and have always struggled to find a medium-full coverage foundation that matches my skin tone until I discovered this foundation. I am in the shade 150-Buff and have found it matches me perfectly. This shade is also a great match for me as it has cool undertones.
I got this foundation when Farmers was having a sale as I don't like paying full price for items I am unfamiliar with. I was not disappointed with this foundation as it actually did give me the coverage I was expecting/wanting from it.
I have found that the formula isn't too thick and isn't too runny and it blends out without much effort and it doesn't look cakey. I have found that this foundation is great for looking flawless without much effort. I have found that it lasts on my skin on night without bunging.
I will definitely keep purchasing this foundation as its amazing and I love it.
Tips: I would recommend putting on a primer first as it will help to make the foundation last longer. Also, I would set your foundation with powder so it doesn't move around while you are doing the rest of your makeup and also, the powder will help to make your foundation last longer. Also, try to dab the powder and use as little as possible as you don't wanna look too cakey.
I have very fair skin and have difficulties finding a perfect match when it comes to foundation. After much money spent and break outs galore, I stumbled across the Revlon Colourstay (Ivory) and have never looked back. The foundation is easy to apply, is medium to full coverage while still remaining light and non-cakey AND it stays on all night. For best results, I prime my skin and once the foundation is applied, I would use a translucent powder to set my face. Overall, the Revlon Colourstay foundation is my go to and can be found online for half the price of it's RRP so I recommend it to everyone!
The shades for these foundations are perfect for me, I'm very pale and cool undertone, this foundation isn't orange or cakey and hides my pink cheeks and any imperfections very well. iits very lightweight and stays put for a long day, reasonably priced and can get it cheaper online.
Tips: Use a setting powder, make sure you get colour matched, exfoliate before application
I use this foundation everyday and love it. The colour selection is fantastic. 150 buff is the perfect shade for my skin as unlike my other foundations it is not so much yellow based, nor red based... just natural brown skin colour. It gives me good coverage for everyday and is dirt cheap. I buy mine of Trademe for $18. Only con is it does not come with a pump unless you buy instore for double the price. This means I have to clean it off the back of my hand after application. It feels nice on my dry skin and does not go cakey on dry areas.
Tips: It does feel sticky after application so you must alway use a powder on top.
