When this came in a GWP I was thrilled. The best size of mascara if you follow the throw every 3 months is a sample size because you are more likely to have used most of it before you throw it out but if that doesn't worry you buy a full size and use till gone.
I liked the brush on this mascara, the short bristles on a long brush. The brush part was like 3 cm long with no curve, I probably didn't use the full length of it on any application. I'm keeping the brush once finished. I got a glossy black mascara that went on smoothly in one coat, the brush defined my lashes nicely. I did do a second coat on the outside half of my top lashes for extra oomph. You can tell where there is a second coat. It seemed to stay in place over the day and didn't have any fall out. This is a standard mascara with no lash building fibres, you can get that as a separate base coat.
The mascara is pricey and if you are the type to not spend more than $25 on a mascara this is not for you unless you are doing GWP and this is in it. I would rebuy but dollar wise makes me think twice. If it put diamonds on my lashes when I coated them I might feel happier about the dollars for repurchase.
I was introduced to this by my Dior loving fine fragrance buying bestie, and I was not disappointed.. I love this formula and super staying power.. No panda eyes.. Even in the morning when naughtily have left in after a hard night! Prise wise, can't equate that much for a mascara, but, it's much cheaper if you buy the travel size one!
Tips: Keep the brush and use with other mascaras.. I always keep the brush of wands I love.. When it comes to mascara, the brush is usually the diff between good and bad ones..
