When I hit 35 my skin didn't go downhill texture wise, but I did start to notice a gentle sloping towards rougher, less luminous, more lined skin. Around that time I read an article about glycolic thingymajigs and I set out to find a good cleanser that would help with my latest skin issue. DDF got good reviews on websites, and I found it online for an affordable price. I think it was around $40? Which felt like a lot at the time, but I've only just now finished the bottle, nearly a year later.
The bottle's nothing flash to look at, but what's in it is skincare gold!! It has a slight minty smell, and when you apply a little (you only need a little) to your skin it gets that yummy cooling feeling going on. I use it in the shower as part of my morning skincare ritual, and I find it doesn't leave my skin squeaky, but it does leave it feeling ultra clean and refreshed. I very quickly noticed a difference to my skin after using this product, and it definitely helped with pimples, it left my skin looking smoother and clearer. I'm at that age where I find it hard to tell if a cleanser is helping with fine lines, because the darn things keep appearing/deepening, but I do get people thinking I'm younger than I am, so perhaps it does help with that too.
Unfortunately I'm Project Panning until August, so I'll be using another cleanser now that this one is done, but as soon as the PP ends I'll be buying another bottle (assuming something else doesn't steal the number one cleanser spot on my beauty shelf). I can't recommend it highly enough.
