I finally decided to try out this mask (on the day before my night shift), as my skin was starting to feel a bit dry again.
It was the first time i tried a mask from this brand, so it was new to me that this mask was sandwiched between two protective tissue gauze sheets, and the mask itself is actually much thicker than other masks i have tried in the past. The sheet was not only thick but made of that jelly-like material. I’m no mask expert, so the slippery sheet did take me a little bit longer to put on. In the past, it’s not too difficult to re-adjust the mask once its put it on, but for this one, it was a little difficult. In other words, the mask adhered to the face really well. I moved up and down and all around, and the mask seems to stay put on my face. Well, how often do we find a good quality mask that doesn’t flop down?
The instructions advised to use the excess liquid from the sachet, which i did. And great that it’s easily absorbed by the skin, without any tacky sticky feeling.
Overall, it’s a mask i would use again if i could afford. The mask itself had a nice, light refreshing scent that’s pretty pleasant to the nose, which i like. The next day, my face was soft and happy.
Recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a decent quality mask.
I managed to snap up a few different kinds of Dr Lewinns masks in the Beauty Vault. This was one of them. I like the foil sachet it comes in. It looks classy and high end to me. It is easy to rip open.
I have dry, sensitive skin and this says it is loaded with a highly potent serum containing Jellyfish Extract, which is rich in Collagen protein to strengthen the skin's barrier, Juveleven peptide and Hyaluronic Acid to boost skin's moisture, improve skin suppleness and promote younger, healthier looking skin. Sounds great to me and just what my skin needs.
It is a really bulky mask, there are 2 thick mesh layers that need to be peeled off. I found the mask a good size for my face but hard to place with the stiff, mesh layer on top. I just ended up peeling off both layers then adjusted to fit. It stays put on your face, you could probably do handstands and it still wouldn't budge.
It has a cool jelly like texture which feels nice on the skin. One thing I don't really like is the scent, it smells a bit odd like my multivitamin pill bottle smells lol. However I am pregnant and everything smells weird to me so maybe that's why.
I let this sit for 20 minutes. It peels off super easy. I had a little bit of product left on my face which I massaged in. Thankfully it dried down in about 5 minutes as I hate that tacky feeling that some sheet masks can leave. My skin looked refreshed and was soft and definitely hydrated.
I would love to use this on a regular basis but they are a bit on the expensive side for a single use mask. I will definitely keep an eye out for sales. A lovely pampering face mask, highly recommend for dry skin that needs a boost.
