Works wonders! ive had this straightener for close to a year now, and it never disappoints, I have really curly and thick hair, so finding a straightener that will really get the job done is almost an impossible task. This straighter makes the process easier and faster with a better outcome.

Tips: Make sure to use heat protection first!!!!
I have had these hair straighteners for years! I love the fast heat up, which is great if you are in a hurry. You only need to run over each piece of hair 1-2 times and it straightens it very fast without making them frizzy! I can use them to curl my hair too.
Tips: I find not heating them too high protects your hair best. On other straighteners I would tend to put them at about 210, however, these do a great job at a lower heat.
When you can't afford the high end straighteners, this will do it justice. I used to own one and served my thick hair so well! It doesn't work better than a GHD or Cloud9, BUT it works wonders and does the job well.
This straightener really lived up to the hype. The long cord is super convenient, it heats up fast and actually does seem to straighten hair faster - this is coming from someone with ALOT of hair.
The only issue we came across is that maybe the Pro+ setting is too high, maybe its not a good temp to use on a daily basis or maybe its us. But all the women in our house use that straightener and all got wicked split ends super quickly. But bringing the temp down to 170 seemed to fix this.
Its definitely great, I still love it and I don't regret buying it whatsoever.
Tips: I would recommend testing your hair with the lower temps first instead of jumping straight to the Pro+ temp. We were a little too excited for salon worthy hair and ruined fresh haircuts in the process.
I have recently brought the Remington PROluxe Salon Straighter and for the price - definitely worth it!! No one wants to wait forever for their straighter to heat up (especially when using it everyday for your short hair!) so I love the quick heat-up feature! I have no faults in this product, works an absolute charm.
Remington has always been my go to for hair styling tools as they are just as good as GHDS and half the price. I have purchased remington hair straighteners from both Kmart and Farmers. These straighteners have different heat settings and a 3m long cord. The black look is sleek and stylish. The heat plates help to glide your hair smoothly through them and i have noticed with Remington that little strands of your hair don't get stuck in the sides of the plates. I had used VS sasoon straighteners from The Warehouse and the silver plates just didn't provide any grip to the hair, whereas Remington ones do.
Tips: If you don't want your hair to fry at the ends keep your straighteners on the lowest setting
I managed to grab one from the BR vault last year! Thanks BR Let's get to it then shall we :) Is this straightener the best I've had?... nope
Is this straightener the worst I've had?... Nope
But it is up there on being one of the many I'd gladly spend money on.
It has an extra long cord, for the times our power source is inconveniently on the other side of room!.... how very dare you not be right beside me.
It heats up in 10seconds(although to me it seems like 3) AMAZING
If you hold down the (+) button it sets to pro+ which I believe is at 185. This setting is quicker for me as my hair straightens in 2 swipes, rather than 3+ when it's not on this setting. ( My hair is coarse/thick and lots of it! )
Holding down the (-) button will lock in the setting at the time of use so if you accidentally drop it/ push any button it will stay on the setting. Will also not switch off while locked.
Speaking of settings, it stays at the same temp from when you last used it. Meaning locks it in as a memory. Thank goodness! My hair already takes years to straighten without trying to remember what temp it was on previously to get it 'perfect' for......... 15mins before the humidity blows it out like a pumpkin.
All in all 100% yes this is a must have x
Tips: Buy it! Use it! You won't be disappointed
This was so different to my past straighteners, due to the temperature control it did no damage to my hair and I was able to up the heat for those stubborn kinks.
I was so, SO incredibly lucky to get my hands on this in the BR Vault. I actually screamed. It arrived the same week and I plugged it in straight away to see if Kellie's article was all that and a bag of chips. Spoiler, it's the whole damn chip factory.
The straightener is gorgeous. It's sleek, and shiny, with buttons and rosy colored hot plates. One button turns the straightener on, and the other two control the temperature, from 150c all the way up to 230c. I have quite fine but thick hair, and I keep the heat at about 170. If you hold the + button, the Pro temperature engages. That temperature is 185c, and it's the temperature salon's use to get silky straight salon hair!
It takes less than a minute to get to temperature. Hair sectioned off, I run the plates through the sections. Oh my god. I'm suddenly a professional and I'm in heaven. I ran the straightener down my hair thrice and it's straight. It's soft. The ends which are usually split and jutting out at all angles are TAMED and lie flat with the rest of my hair. They're not burnt, they're not dry to touch. They're soft and touchable and they look damn good. The claim that after one pass through your hair makes it 47% straighter is very, very accurate. It also works so fast, within 5 minutes my hair is finished. 5 minutes!!!!!
For years I've used a Remington wet to dry wide plated straightener, so to go to plates so thin was quite the change, but they worked SO much better than the wider ones. Granted, the wide straightener is about 10 years old and the plates are worn, but they still work. With these small ones I can get the hair close to my head that never straightens out.
The only thing I don't like is how long the cord is, but that's because it's still all kinked from being boxed up, and so it attacks everything in sight as I swivel the straightener around my head. Otherwise, this straightener is a god send. It's everything Kellie said in her article and more. It works so well, I'm just. In love. Thanks for enabling me Kellie!
I've had this straighter for many years now and it still works perfectly!! Even after taking it on travels and moving house many times and it not always being treated the gentlest it is still going strong.I'm very Happy with it, it straightens well too and doesn't damage my hair. Oh and I love how quickly it heats up too which is great as a busy mama.
