Nude By Nature Contour Eye Pencil Review

I purchased this eyeliner in two colours, 'sunrise 'which is a soft gold, and 'rainforest' which is a nice soft khaki green. Sunrise is my favorite and I wear it almost daily on my lower lash line when wearing a soft pearly eyeshadow. The pencils are soft but not so soft they they crumble and wear down quickly. Wear well all day with no smudging and wash off easily at the end of the day. I see the grey has great reviews so that will be my next purchase.

I’ve used this in the waterline for a while and it works really well, it’s long lasting and even though it’s a standard pencil it applies like a gel. One thing that has surprised me was how easy it was to draw a wing over metallic eyeshadow. I’ve got liners that are double the price that just don’t show up over shadow. I end up more often than not ruining my eye look because I go over and over trying to get an obvious line, not with this liner. It is a great all rounder and very pigmented. I have this in brown and it’s a gorgeous chocolate shade, I’m looking forward to trying other shades.

I have 06 Rainforest. It’s a very creamy, easy to glide pencil that stays on the whole day. I don’t like the built in smudger, it’s too harsh for my eyes. I just use my finger to smudge it as the heat from my finger seemed to “melt” it easier and produces a more natural, less effort effects.

I find I need to sharpen it regularly if I want to use it as a thin liner. Otherwise it comes out as thicker liner on the eyes.

Definitely will be repurchasing other shades from this line.

I really love this eye Pencil. The packaging is lovely and you get a lot of product (more than the old Maybelline I was using). The pencil glides on they eyes and feels almost creamy.I got the black color and the color payoff is excellent. I can get a surprisingly defined line with this that stays in place. Most of the time I prefer a smokey look and I recommend using the smudger right away otherwise it sets and you can't smudge it very easily. Really pleased to find an ethical, natural brand that does a great job.
