essano Intense Hydration Shampoo

I have fine straight hair that is coloured. Just recently I was drying my hair and found a bald spot on the back of my scalp......I was horrified. I went to my hairdresser and she said its alopecia. I have never had it before and was really upset. I had been using nioxin for around 6 months to thicken up my hair. I dont like to say it but I believe it is what made my hair fall out! I decided to try something with less chemicals and essano looked perfect! I am very thankful to say I have been using it for a month and my hair has nearly all grown back!! It also leaves my hair beautifully clean, never itchy and smells delicious. Great price too! I do believe it's TRUE to label.....its nourishing!

This is definitely my go to shampoo (with the matching conditioner of course).

I've always loved Essano products, and started buying this when it was first available.

The scent is fantastic, and used to receive compliments on how my hair smelt. The size of the product is also good value for the quantity, and one bottle can last me 2-3 months washing every 2-3 days.

Leaves my hair smelling great, looking healthy and best of all, I haven't had split ends since using it. Please note my hair is below my hips, so it must be doing something great for it!

I love Essano and was so excited when I bought this shampoo. I have frizzy fine hair and having used argan oils before I thought this was the answer to all my hair prayers. Unfortunately it left my hair heavy and although it was nicely moisturised it looked lank and stringy. I know other people that love this shampoo and I didn’t use it with the matching conditioner so maybe that’s why I didn’t work but I won’t be buying this particular type again. I’ve since tried another type in this range and I love it.

I thought this was gonna be the answer to my overly sensitive scalp, as massaging oils into it used to make it flakefree for a few weeks, so thought argan oil in my shampoo would help a lot, but sadly it was the same story as with most shampoos: I started to get itchy and flakey from using it continuously, so had to change it to another shampoo and then change it back to this again. I’ve used it up with the conditioner and the leave in argan oil and weren’t so bad, I wish my scalp wouldn’t be so sensitive. I haven’t repurchased this shampoo, but went through a few bottles of conditioners and hair oils. If your scalp isn’t sensitive this will be great for dryer, frizzier hair types as the line used together made my hair really smooth and did to touch. I just wish these would be fragranced a bit stronger, as I like my hair products nicely perfumed.

I love the Essano skin care range, so was excited to try this hair care range. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations, and the reality was that my hair didnt feel any different after using. In fact, it felt as though I hadnt even washed it. It was quickly feeling oily and knotty.. Suffice to say I was deeply disappointed in this.. Sorry Essano, but love the skincare range!

I received this in my box from I Am Co. It smells absolutely divine and leaves my hair shiny, silky and clean. I was worried the argan oil would leave my hair oily but it didn't at all. I have a sensitive scalp and have been fine using this with no reaction.

I love the smell of this product! I’m a big fan of Essano products but found this shampoo to feel really different to usual ones and it makes my hair super frizzy! It cleans it beautifully and makes my hair smell amazing and feel so so soft but just too fluffy!

I was sent a luxury 50ml sample of this shampoo by Essano, after I'd experienced seriously faulty packaging with one of their other products.

I have naturally oily hair, and the little bottle of this shampoo says it's suitable for all hair types, yet the description on here says to nourish dry damaged hair. Well, it's not a bad shampoo, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with oily hair, as it doesn't work as well as my usual oily hair shampoo.

I smells okay, and lathers well, leaving my hair feeling after it's been freshly washed, but a few hours later it does start to look oily already. Definitely not what I look for in a good shampoo.

I'd probably only recommend this to friends to try if they have dry or damaged hair, but I won't be purchasing a full sized bottle once the sample runs out.
