I can't fault this highlighter AT ALL. I tend to get oily with a full face of makeup, but this stuff sticks like glue! It's easily blended, doesn't look like I've painted glitter glue directly on my face, and doesn't feel itchy or uncomfortable! I love love this range, I've got lavender snow in the post as we speak

Tips: Use a decent brush to get the right blend going, using cheap or using blenders I wouldn't recommend
This is such a great highlighter, a little bit goes a long way. Gives a soft shine even though it looks intense. I love using it on my cheeks, tip of my nose, and corner of my eyes! I also use it as eyeshadow to give a great shine. Super pigmented. Super expensive, would only purchase if you use it regularly!
Tips: Use for highlighter and eyeshadow
I love these highlighters! Get such good pay off with the products. The pan size is also really good. With how fast I go through it, I think the price is good.
Tips: Try layering over a liquid highlighter for extra glow.
I have a few Jeffree products. I love them, they're gorgeous. But the price point always makes me squirm. The skin frosts certainly have the pay off, but I think there are other brands out there that have a similar pay off for a more affordable price.
Tips: Like others have mentioned, that top layer sometimes needs scratching off to make sure you're getting the pay off you expect. Not ideal....
I have a lot of these, some of them don’t have a good pay off unless you scratch off the top layer, when I contacted Jeffree star cosmetics about it they didn’t reply. I don’t reach for the anymore but the collaborations highlighters with Manny MUA were good.
Tips: If it is pressed to hard then you need to scratch the first layer off
I freaking loooooove my skin frost in Neffree. At first I was a bit nervous about using it as it looks so intense, but omg it's amazing. When I'm rushing out the door and still want to put some makeup on, I use it as an eyeshadow.
I bought this skin frost a couple of years ago in Ice Cold, and guess what? I'm still using it every day!
I use it in the inner corner of my eyes and above my cheek bones.
Its texture is really soft and a little goes a long way.
I love how much shimmer this gives me, I'm obsessed.
Tips: Always use a blending brush to remove any harsh lines from your cheek bones.
Use overtop of an eye primer in your inner corner for it to last all day.
I own too of these, in the shades Peach Goddess and Ice Cold.
Both were very gorgeous shades, that I really loved - both are what the names suggest, peach goddess being a beautiful peach shade and ice cold being a gorgeous frosty white. They applied well and sat nicely on my skin. Both were super pigmented and I loved the way they looked.
My issue with these is that they broke super easily! Ice Cold shattered when I dropped it onto my makeup desk from not very high at all, maybe 5cms? Peach Goddess broke sometime in my makeup bag without me knowing, which has never happened to any other powders or palettes that I have owned. Both shades completely shattered and turned into an awful crumbly mess. Tried to repress both of them and just didn't have the same pigmented glow as before. Not sure if this is a common problem, but I was extremely disappointed, especially since I hadn't owned them for long. I haven't repurchased as I own a ton of highlighters and didn't want to risk spending more money on any in case I had the same problem.
I would highly recommend ice cold as it glides on beautiful , But the formula is hit and miss between shades as like the manny mua uranus collab was very crumbly and did not sit well on the skin
I have had this highlighter in Peach Goddess since either 2015 or 2016 and it is still going strong. It is a large pan, and I used it consistently for the first couple years and then less so as I got other highlighters.
For a shimmery, almost glittery highlight the payoff is good - it is a fine powder and not chunky glitter. On my extremely pale skin (100 fenty, 1c char tilbury, approx nc10 mac) it doesn't look like a colourful peachy pink streak when applied with a brush or applying with my ring finger. You can wear this as a daytime subtle shimmer but could easily build this up to a heavy pinky-peach shimmery/glittery highlight if that is your vibe.
I don't remember having the issue with the hard layer on the surface, it always has applied nicely. When this highlight initially came out, it was big to get so much product in a highlight for the price it was on offer for - other brands don't tend to come out with pans this size today still.
However, after all these years this isn't the first highlighter I reach for, I occasionally use it when I either think 'hey I've not used that in a while' or if I use it on my eyes and decide to match my highlight with it. I tend to almost always go fenty beauty diamond veil for a glittery highlight or anastasia/colourpop for a more shimmer highlight.
Furthermore due to what has come to light with the owner of this company and actions around those he is associate with, I wouldn't recommend this brand or its anymore.
Tips: for a more subtle application, use a brush. If you want a stronger colour or glitter payoff, use your fingers to apply to your cheekbones
