Rimmel London Wonder'Luxe Volume Mascara

Love the colour of the packaging for this mascara, the metallic packaging is super nice and with a slight curve in the packaging it makes it easy to hold.

I was super surprised when I checked out the wand on how skinny it was and was a little skeptical - however found it made the mascara super easy to apply and separated my upper and lower lashes really well.

The mascara definitely did not apply thick or clumpy and applied to the lashes really smoothly. It did take a few coats for me to get the volume benefits of the mascara, so definitely not my favourite mascara of all time, however for an affordable mascara I would look at repurchasing.

Colour was a good dark black colour too, and I found it didn't really smudge for me either which is a bonus!

Wand is curved which I loved as made it easy and flexible to apply to my lashes. I do however still prefer a bigger brush I think!

First of all I absolutely adore the elegant package it comes in, definitely looks expensive!! A beautiful pinky, blush, rose coloured container. I was very excited to be picked to review this mascara as I love dramatic eyes, thick long lashes even for an every day look. I don’t necessarily think it’s the most volumising mascara I have ever used but it’s definitely a great mascara. I do generally have long lashes naturally but the mascara tends to make them look longer as the tips of my lashes are lighter so the black does show them off more. Lithe wand is shaped so you can apply the mascara to illuminate the clumps and get an easy all over application. There is no weird smell to this mascara what so ever which is awesome. I am a real gym bunny and the first day I applied this mascara I went and did an hour on the cross trainer followed by my general program and my mascara stayed put even though I was sweaty and hot. I like the price of the mascara as it’s not extremely expensive but not cheap and nasty so it’s good value for money. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it. Thanks heaps beauty review.

I found the Rimmel Wonder'Luxe great to use. The curve of the wand gave my lashes just the right amount of coverage, going on smoothly without gluiness. I could use a single layer for daytime and then layer more mascara over the top for a fuller night time lash look. The pink pop of the packaging gave it an extra, fun edge for my make up purse.

I was lucky enough to be picked by BR to trial this mascara. I typically use more premium brands so I was interested to see how this mascara performed. The packaging was quite big for a mascara. It had a nice shape and is very pink and shiny. The wand itself was quite typical and had a rubber end with little bristles which seems to be a popular brush type more generally at the moment. It worked well and didn't put too much product on my lashes. I usually struggle with new mascaras and find them a bit too 'wet' for the first couple of weeks of use but this wasn't the case with this one. The black colour of the product was exactly what I expected and gave a dramatic look. The product stayed where it should, there was no transfer or bits falling off my lashes and when I wanted to remove it, it was easy to remove with the usual wipes I use for the rest of my makeup. I will continue to use this mascara after the trial period ends as it's not too different from Benefit Roller Lash that I've been using before starting this trial. A good product, a good price and good results!

Wow the container is a mauve metallic pink in colour with a soft curve into four corners lightly twisted fuller in the middle than on the edges . It’s sexy to look at and hold. It’s a generous 11 ml of black mascara. The brush is solid with wee hard spikes and lightly curved. I wipe the mascara off the brush with a tissue otherwise I find all mascaras go on way to heavy and a little clumpy as the brush is full. So a couple off zig zag brush through my lashes, mascara that is black as black is on my lashes. I found it clumped my eyelashes together so my lashes look like spider legs. But if I brush over them once I applied the mascara with another wand or with the wand after I ran it through a tissue to remove most of the mascara it does separate them to make them look all individual and fuller. I had to do that every time I used it, so I’d say I'm going to go through it pretty quickly.

During the day no crumbs on my face and nice and easy to remove a wee makeup pad soaked in warm water with a bit of eye makeup remover it comes of nice and easy. It doesn’t give me va vom amazing volume but two coats and I do have fuller eyelashes and length. For the price it’s a ok product

I enjoyed using this mascara. It does what it says it does but I did find that it did have some clumps and didn't seperate the lashes as much as I would have liked. However, that is not one of the claims that it would do that, so just something to be aware of.

Upon comparison, before and after mascara application, I did notice that my lashes were more noticeable and thicker. There were some clumps but mostly, my lashes were smooth. My lashes were also slightly longer after application. The mascara was also quite easy to apply and went on smoothly albeit a few clumps here and there and didn't sperate the lashes as much as I would have liked. The mascara has a soft, subtle and pleasant (to me) scent if you have it up close to your nose though there is sometimes a small waft when using. Overall, I did enjoy using it and after application of the mascara, you could definitely tell that mascara is used. My lashes were noticeably (slightly) longer and voluminsed.

Sorry to be brutal but this was a miss. It's clumpy, and doesn't separate the lashes. I ended up washing it off each time. Pretty packaging, but that's it I'm afraid.

I got picked to review this mascara, thanks so much! im not a big makeup wearer (skin problems) so try to stay away from heavy use. but i do like to wear mascara on occasion to spruce up the face a bit, minimal effort goes a long way! I love the tube, its a shiny rose gold colour. makes it feel a little more special. The wand end is slightly curled, i like this as it goes with the shape of my eyelids. However i feel like there was just to much on the wand when its taken out, i had to scrape some off before applying. Applying the mascara was easy, it did feel a little clumpy/lumpy though, even with scraping some off before . i did have to brush it out with another brush so it wasn't so stuck together. I liked the way it felt on, like there was nothing there, but it did make my lashes look longer and fuller (which is great cause they are really not either of those things) Even with the few problems i had i will definitely be using this one again, the results are worth the little extra time i needed to take!

Consistency is creamy and the product had clumps through it which creates a problem while applying the product. The brush is a curled applicator wand which is enjoyable to use for application. The product lasted through the day without flaking or smearing. The packing is nice the colour is a metallic pink and easy to twist open and it’s not too big or small to hold. Results is not what I expected the product did not add volume to my lashes and it doesn’t provide much lift for my lashes which is surprising considering a curler wand is supposed to help provide the curled up effect. I would recommend if you do use this product to use a different brush for the lower lashes as it smudges and leaves uneven finish. I wouldn’t recommend this product to my friends there are so many others out there and this one is average. The price at farmers is $22 I wouldn’t pay that much for it.

I have black lashes that aren’t thick but are probably medium in length. I like my mascara to add both volume and length to my lashes. This mascara was easy to apply and didn’t clump it have too much product on the wand. It was easy to comb through your lashes evenly and spread out your lashes. I applied two coats like normal and the result was a bold look. It lengthened my lashes but didn’t give my lashes as much volume as I would have liked. I will try doing three coats maybe.

This mascara lasted during the day and didn’t come off or flake off. It was also easy to remove. This mascara contains oil to boost the health of your lashes. I have been using this mascara for 1-2 weeks and have not noticed a difference in my lashes but I think it’s too early to notice anything.

The wand is made of a rubber type material that is flexible rather than have brush bristles. I prefer this type of wand (similar to the material of a benefit roller lash wand).

Packaging is a shiny metallic dusty pink tube that has flat angled sides. I like this tube as it not the typical round cylinder shape. I thought it would be awkward to hold but it’s not.

Overall this mascara is decent and really good for the price. I will continue to use this mascara but it’s not my favourite as I would like more volume in my lashes.
