a non-greasy essential sunscreen that glows!

I’m quite oily in my T zone so wanted something light that wouldn't transfer throughout the day. It does say it’s anti-shine, once applied, it was very matte, although it took a bit longer to spread out as it dries very quickly. Being an SPF 50+ mineral sunscreen it's a lot thicker in texture, which I don't mind, it blends well, and my skin was soft and dewy- no dryness. It would be a great base for makeup, (or to wear on its own) you probably wouldn't even need a primer. However, I think it would be even better if it was lightly tinted and came in a bigger tube!

Tips: Dries very quickly so make sure to spread out evenly or mix with your face moisturizer. I use it with cerave face cream.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Anti-Shine Dry Touch

I love this sunscreen .... the one thing I hate about sunscreen is I don't like the thick greasy feeling on my face. This product has no greasy feel..as a runner it didn't feel like it was light on my skin and didn't run into my eyes with sweat. The smell is pleasant the pump lid allows easy application without mess. Was a great base for under my makeup. I couldn't review effectiveness of the spf due to little to no sun. I am taking this sunscreen to work so I can apply when I go outside. Can't wait for summer.. finally have sun protection that doesn't ruin a day at the beach.

Anti-shine sunscreen

This sunscreen is a gel-cream that is easy to apply, sinks in well, and it leaves a very matte and soft feeling after drying on my skin. It doesn't have that sticky/greasy feeling like other sunscreens can and doesn't leave my face all shiny, which makes it great for my oily skin. It smells like normal sunscreen and doesn't seem to have any other fragrance. Love that it is SPF50+ and the bottle mentions that it has reduced content of chemical filters and no parabens.

It is quite small (50ml) but I will only use it on my face so it should last a while. The small tube always mean I can carry it with me all the time in my handbag for tops up during the day.

Tips: Reapply every two hours. And always check the expiry date of your sunscreen!

La Roche-Posay Dry Touch SPF50 for summer

I really was excited to try this out since I'm an spf nut. This spf is fantastic for oily skin and felt really light. It's a really neutral smell and didn't irritate any sensitive skin (unless your skin is raw from hayfever). It wore pretty good under makeup and I didn't burn on my day running errands. Now initially if you pile it on like me (in a week I used up a fifth of the tube, no kidding) you will have a slight white cast but that goes away. If you pile heaps on and then apply foundation straight afterwards it will pill a bit. It also can make your eyes water if you apply it too close to your eyes but that's pretty much most sunscreens. I actually am pretty picky about spf and I'm actually considering repurchasing so that's a pretty big win for this. If you want a hybrid spf of physical blockers like zinc and other chemical spfs this isn't for you but I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a chemical spf for summer especially something that feels light on the skin.

Tips: Give it a few minutes to set before applying your makeup or it will pill.

Big Fan

I am a big fan of La Roche-Posay facial sunscreens. This 50+ spf dry touch gel cream is what i would call a matt finish that instantly sinks into your skin. It would therefore be perfect for oily skin. I have combination skin with an oily tzone and still feel its quite drying.

There is a subtle sunscreen smell, which is fine and glides on easily. One pump covers my face, neck and chest fine.

Packaging is an easy pump style, with a generous 50mls. Mess free application with lid.

BEST Suncreen for Oily Skin

I have oily skin and this is the best sunscreen I have ever used. It absorbs really well into the skin and does not leave my skin oily or greasy afterwards. It doesn’t have the sunscreen smell which is amazing. I use this sunscreen every day for a week, and it has been great, no breakout, acne or extra oiliness. The sunscreen is super light, it feels lovely on the skin with beautiful matt finish. It has SPF50+ which gives me great protection from the damaging sun.

Some suncreens can make you feel sticky, heavy on the skin all day, but not this one. It is more expensive than other supermarket brands but well worth it. If you have oily skin, this sunscreen is a god sent.

La Roche-Posay anti-shine Facial sunscreen SPF50+

I found this very easy to use the pump action nozzle gave a nice amount of cream to spread. It spread easily over my skin and left no whiteness . I also applied foundation some days and it was satisfactory together Nice sized tube easy to hold in my hand. Since using the product I have not had any sunburn on my face and my skin feels soft . It is good to have a sunscreen safe to use on my face.

Tips: Only a small amount is needed as it spreads well.

Anti shine sunscreen

I was given the opportunity to trial this facial sunscreen. My first impression is the bottle is small so easy to fit in you our handbag. The small tube has a pump I used roughly 3 squirts for my face and neck. It says the product is a gel but it did not go on as smoothly as I would have liked it was thick and harder to spread over areas. It is non perfumed so my skin did not react to the sunscreen yay! The finish is matte once dried and it did not affect my makeup when used as a base. The price point is more expensive when googled it’s around 25-35 dollars. It’s rated as 50 plus sunscreen which is a must for daily wear on the face. I would recommend you give it a go it seems like it stays on throughout the day even while working out or just being outside in the sun.

Some of the best!

I have had a lot of bad experiences with sunscreen in the past, so I was a bit skeptical of La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Anti-Shine Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen SPF50+, but I have been pleseantly surprised!

I love the 50ml size, perfect for your handbag - so I have no excuse not to always have sunscreen on hand. Even if I didn't have time to apply before I walked out the door in the morning, because it fits in my bag I can simply apply when I arrive at my destination. I found this really helpful motivation to wear sunscreen daily - which we all know we should do but sometimes ends up in the too hard basket.

I both loved and hated the packaging design. On one hand the cap and pump combo ensures there is no spillage in your bag. Big win! But on the other hand, I kept trying to squeeze the tube from the bottom before remembering it has a pump at the top that you have to press down on. Probably something I'd get used to over time but it was a bit annoying.

The product goes on white, but dries/absorbs quickly (almost too quickly!) so it feels like I need to apply quite a lot to make sure I've got good coverage. The product then mattifies leaving a soft finish and looks really good.

One of my biggest issues with sunscreen is that it eventually rubs off into my eyes and stings requiring washing off and starting again - but not this stuff! I even used the product while on holiday in Australia, and it didn't melt off or move in 35 degree heat! It lasted all day and I didnt get burnt once!

It also didn't make my skin red and angry like most other sunscreens do with regularly use. So it's passes my oily and sensitive skin test!

I highly recommend using La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Anti-Shine Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ . It's some of the best sunscreen I've ever used and I will definitely be buying more!
