Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared

Having been thoroughly disillusioned with mascara advertising after trying and failing to see anything great about "Great Lash" mascara, I was wary about deviating from my tried and true Revlon mascara and giving Maybelline another go. Well, I am super glad that I did because this mascara is wonderful - it made my lashes look a lot fuller and it stayed put all day and I didn't end up with panda eyes (which happens to me regardless of using waterproof mascara for some reason). I loved that the wand did a perfect job of separating my lashes and applying enough product without making them gloopy. I ended up with lovely, dramatic lashes and have happily replaced my Revlon mascara.

I love love love this mascara! I just had to try this mascara after all the hype about it and i fell in love instantly.

This is one of the only mascaras that separates, lengthens and volumizes my lashes with an added flare. If you're like me and have straight, sparse lashes than i totally recommend this to you. I have the one in waterproof as i find the waterproof formula holds the curl for longer. There is no transferring or smudging of the mascara either. I can apply one coat for a natural day to day look or two coats for an added flared nighttime look.

This is definitely my go to mascara. And at such an afforadable price, who could say no?

I expected this product to be AMAZING after all the hype, but I was not blown away. For me I feel as though this is just another mascara. However, the wand makes application easy and lasting power is good.

This mascara is a must have in your makeup collection I loved it because it didn't clump my lashes together like a lot of other mascaras, it also made my eyelashes look really long and that's just what I want from a mascara loved it !

I am always searching for new and improved Mascaras but none seems to do the job the good old "Falsies" does. Love this product. Always works perfectly on me and a great price!

This has to be my favourite mascara ever, my lashes don't clump at all with this, it makes my lashes look way more full and long. Easy to remove with makeup remover.

I have long thick eyelashes, but they are blonde and they are dead straight. I really struggle to keep them curled. However, this mascara, in the waterproof version, keeps them curled all night long! Seriously, it will hold them up like you've put hairspray in your eyelashes!

It also leaves my lashes looking thick, black, yet defined. I hate clumpy lashes and this doesn't do that at all.

I purchased this after the big "hype" came out as I am always after a new Mascara, one of those type of products I always have to have at least 10 of!

I personally think it was a little pricey but it did what it said, and made my lashes look pretty good! Considering I haven't even been sold on the plastic/flexible style brush with other purchases, but this did the trick.

I love the xxl range, so when this came out I was really excited to try it. Used it three times and chucked it in a draw.. all that happened is it turned my eyelashes into a clumpy lumpy mess. Was really disappointed. The whole product was full of lumps. I dont have the time to 'fix' their product.

My eyelashes are naturally quite long and thick, with a curl so I'm not sure if it is just my type of lashes or what.

The worst part is that I have always had good experiences with Maybellines product, and this product was just so bad that its lost my brand loyalty. It may have just been a bad batch H or something after reading the reviews on here, but I'm not prepared to give this product a second chance. As a consequence, my new fav mascara is a Revlon brand.

This product does everything it says it will, one coat gives a nice extension to eyelashes but for a more glamorous look I like to do three or four coats. Prefer to use this mascara when out at night. Doesn't leave blotches so long as you leave coats to dry before applying another coat.
