I seem to be going against the grain here on this product, but it definitely isn't a favourite of mine. It is an ok body wash - foams up well and cleans my body. But there is minimal exfoliation as I can't feel it at all. But maybe that is because I am used to really gritty body scrubs (including the St Ives facial scrubs) that really exfoliate and scrub off skin.
I don't really like the scent either - it kinda smells like Raro cordial to me. But again maybe this is because I prefer warmer scents like vanilla and jasmine.
This lovely product came in the Top Rated BBBE. I have always had faith in St Ives products and this body scrub did not let me down.
I started it after finishing another particularly good body product, and while this one didn’t top that, it did come close. It comes in an easy to use flip top bottle -no issue to use on the shower with wet hands. The product is pale apricot in colour, and thickish. It is gritty enough to clean my skin without causing discomfort or fear of it blocking the drain. I don’t know what the gritty bits actually are, although it may be crushed walnut which isn’t ideal. The scent for me is delightful, I love it. I also love that it clings to my skin after drying myself.
I like the way my skin feels and smells after using this scrub.
I’ve been looking online and haven’t found an easy place to purchase it, or how much it costs unfortunately, so I don’t know if I’d buy it again or not. I would if it weren't too expensive I guess, as it is a very good product..
Tips: Squirt onto a loofah or sponge and lather generously all over your body - mmmmm
